Do you know if there were any TV cameras at the game.

Meath for years got off with alot including 96 and tyrone or ulstrer teams are brought up on everthing. So have dublin and kildare and laois will also be looked after . Now these are facts and how dare anyone on this site attack a poster because of threads i put up concerning bans. Dell, They arent facts, they are biased opinions. Your initial post was a load of rubbish, I asked you to name the players who got off in 08? The fact that you cant confirms your biased facts, just like your earlier two post on other topics. In 96 meath had 9 players suspended, one for 6 months, thats hardly getting off! You becoming an oversensitive nordie whos suffering from severe paranoia

Ah, the first 'everyone's against Ulster' thread of the new year. I see things haven't changed over the Christmas break.

There was no TV cameras at the game and apparently both training videos have being lost so all will depend on referees report and eye witnesses.

Hope they don't call anyone from Ulster.

OK Mr History, remind me about the Tyrone v westmeath game in 08 and the 2 Westmeath players that got sent off. Did the Westmeath players subsequently get off & Dooher get suspended? That is what should have happened. Stop yapping about poor old Tyrone. You are the reason so many people are Anti-Tyrone!

Oh dear. More tripe from Dell. You'd think he'd have learned his lesson after the Marty Clarke incident.

I am not agreeing with Dell but using derogatory terms to describe your Northern brethern will only promote that paronoia you speak of

Dellboypolecat County: Tyrone Posts: 9424 542291 I see not many papers covered this 28 man brawl yesterday. Like most games in Leinster the trial by TV will not come into play unless your from a county like Monaghan,Derry,Tyrone or even Ulster. Is this fair....it seems like different rules for different Provinces DUBLIN v TYRONE NFL at Healy Park, Omagh Sunday, February 5, 2006 Forever remembered as 'the Battle of Omagh'. Tyrone were All-Ireland champions, Dublin were hyped up and defiant and failed to form the expected guard of honour for Tyrone. Early on a clash between Alan Brogan of Dublin and Tyrone's Brian Meehan resulted in referee Paddy Russell giving them yellow cards. Early in the second half, Brogan was sent off for a second yellow, and was involved in a verbal altercation with a Tyrone official on the sideline. That sparked violent confrontations between players and subs from both sides. The red card toll was four -- Brogan and Denis Bastick for Dublin and Colin Holmes and Stephen O'Neill for Tyrone. Twelve yellows, including double yellows for Brogan, Bastick and O'Neill, were brandished by the ref. Loopholes were found in the GAA rules which resulted in the case against Dublin and Tyrone players collapsing. Disciplinary procedures were tightened up after that. DUBLIN v MEATH NFL at Parnell Park Sunday, April 20, 2008 Old enmity boiled over, and again Paddy Russell was the unfortunate man in the middle. This time the ref didn't hesitate when the 'fun' began with a 90-second brawl involving 29 players just five minutes after the throw-in. He immediately reduced the teams to 13 v 13, dismissing Bernard Brogan and Paddy Andrews from Dublin, and Meath's Niall McKeigue and Shane McAnarney. Ciaran Whelan of Dublin was later sent off for giving Meath's Seamus Kenny a slap in the face. A total of 11 yellow cards were awarded. Eventually the Central Competitions Control Committee suspended 16 players. Interesting to note that in each of these cases TV coverage enabled the transgressions to be viewed by officials. There was no TV coverage at O'Moore Park last Sunday. Theres you Facts Dell. Theres no difference where your from. You claimed that Meath players got off after that in 2008, yet you still cant name one single Meath players who got off on appeall? Even last year, Stephen Bray was harshly sent off, did he get off on Appeal? NO! You seem to love this, "Its us against the world" attitude. Your like a Millwall supporter, they all hate us but we dont care mentality! You come on claiming that the big bad GAA monsters in Croke Park are out to get ye, yet you can only come up with biased opinions, no facts at all.

Derryman,
I can assure you its aimed at nobody but Dell, but if you take a read over some of his posts in the last few months he's came out with some howlers & paranoia seems to be a real problem for him latley.

Dellboy's biggest failing is not that he dosen't know, its that he refuses to learn from people who do know. Everyone on this thread has "insulted" him. In fact anyone with a superior argument is seen to "insult" him.

To be honest, Dell never struck me as the type of person who reads newspapers, though I do suspect that he likes to look at the pictures a lot. Hence the confusion on this thread. Of course, many papers covered the seven dismissals from Sunday in their columns yesterday but because there were so few cameras at the game, so few pictures were available. And so Dell started this thread!

And just for the record the day that Meath and Dublin had the dust up in Parnell in '08 there was what was at the time classed as a more vicious dust up in the Cork/ Armagh game. Swept under the carpet thou. Lads don't forget Kev Reilly after the Wexford game in '08 and then we saw Collie Moran have his suspension reduced/recinded for his tackle on the westmeath lad.

God Dell give it a break. I'm starting to picture you as some red-neck from the Rocky Mountains locked away in your cabin from the rest of the world.
You've gone totally crazy lately.
The media will dance on this just like they danced on the Tyrone/Dublin affair. You've got to remember too that Tyrone have been and are a more high profile team than Kildare and Laois. If it's Kerry, Tyrone or Cork it's always going to be big news. The rest just don't make the same headlines these days.

I'm amazed everyone keeps falling for this. Well done Dell you have gotten them hook, line and sinker. Perhaps the greatest display of fishing that has ever been seen on this website. Dellboypolecat is Keyser Soze! P.S Dell could you pass me on a few tips?

You would do anything to stir it up, it was all over the papers. You dont need to have an inquest on day one and as some of the lads have said it appers there were no cameras at the game.
My question is how can you have seen the papers when you spend all your time here?

But Colin thats not Dells arguement.
His arguement is the Lainster teams always do unpunished & Ulster teams always get the book thrown at them, & its complete nonsense.
Nobody would mind if he had some balance of facts to his debate, but he just argues his points based in his own opinion & ignores everyone elses points, even if there are facts to prove them!

In 08 couple of meath players like dublin served no suspensions even though they where giving a month and big set up if there was ever one . 09 a kerry player thumped a meath player no suspension, cork player struck a tyrone player no suspension. . They are incidents every year in leinster no suspensions. And ricey , tommy mc guigan, freeman , all banned under video so please somebody explain why others players did not get banned under this only ulster players.

Not only in leinster and jinxie 96 v tyrone meath players stood on tyrone players heads and they got off scot free .
