speedy12, themaster, don't waste your time on 32 he just isn't worth the energy.

Is Rooney going to play tonight? We need a victory that is for sure. Vidic and Ferdinand back for the first time since October i believe.

I'm going for 3-0 to the reds what do you think lads. Rooney to get the first if he plays. I hope Fergie gives Owen a run out, the kid needs a run. He scores 3 in Europe and has hardly kicked a ball since, strange?

Re Slayer,
that is the great thing about the game, everyone has an opinion
and you would be right as long as your opinion is the same as patrique's
because he is never wrong have you not learned that yet.

570877 I still think Ronaldo is the best player in the world. It's about end product, goals. His scoring rate & goal creation rate is huge this past 3 seasons.

get your facts right. messi has had a superior goals/games ratio to ronaldo every season. even when ronaldo got his 41 or 42 goals messi had scored more goals for the amount of games he played in that season. messi is a more prolific goal scorer

i agree with you slayer, the guy pushed the boundaries of what we thought footballers could do, he could score from literally anywhere, even with all the extra attention he got. As for having a lesser ratio, in my opinion that is really scraping the bottom of the barrel, if a lad got a hat-trick in one game and never played again he would have the best ratio in the world!

Messi is also excellent, but there have been good dribblers before, kinkladze, giggs or denilson, but nobody has done what ronaldo did

Yes Dell he is class !! Which of the big teams do you think he will go to as he will surely have to be sold to pay the interest on the debt ?

FAO slayer, TheMaster. Ronaldo only had 6 assists in the entire premiership season last year.

but taking your theory back to the limit, if you play one game & score a hat trick, does that make you more prolific than a player who plays 40 games & scores 30 goals?

Nope - if the player was not in the team, why? Injured players are useless to a team.

just like ronaldo this year so. so how is he a better player than messi then if he's injured for most of the season?

messi outscored him last year. so again going by your goals makes a player better theory, how is ronaldo better than messi.

and the hat trick arguement is a useless one because messi played about 40 games that season. just look at their career head to head stats. messi is catching ronaldo on all time goals scored, in about half the games played.

i didnt refer to his assists nocky, and in all honesty, when others would try for an assist ronaldo would score from the position.

There you go slasher, mancirish with an amazing prediction before the match, the scoreline and scorers, much more than 32_4_1 champions league final prediction which you value so much. I assume you will transfer your hero worship to mancirish in light of this irrefutible evidence.

really bref "much more"?. he predicted the first scorer and the scoreline. i predicted the second scorer and the score line, along with possession which wasnt far off. ill try and pull my predictor thing of the champions league final on the uefa website. on that i also got the got close enough to the times scored on both goals and said their would be one each half.

Just like the reds i guess i just got lucky also. Its a red thing you know!!!!

It took us a little while to get going last night, but after the first goal the game was over. The Roo was on fire yet again, Vidic, Scholes, Valencia all played well. In
fact it was a good all round team performance. 7/10 for Gibson played OK not sure about him yet. Juries still out for me. I'd keep him for cover at least for now.

Any converts to Rooney yet, or are the doubters still out there. It will be a travesty if he doesn't get World Player of the year if he keeps this form up. Streets in front of the rest at the moment.

Just a Lucky guess Breff that was all, Slasher you stick with your mate. He is so talented, i wouldn't him to fall out with you.

You are worse than me for rthe old wind ups.

If there was any sense of reality and degree of difficulty, Darren Bent would beEnglish footballer of the year, never mind the world.

Yes, rooney, Dunne, Tevez and Drogba are up there, but look who Bent is performing for.

You agreed with one of slayer's posts when he referred to Ronaldo's "goal creation rate" or something like that.

How many free kicks does Ronaldo blast straight into the wall before he eventually catches one right and it flies in? He is not a team player.
