Ronaldo wants his mate back!!!!!!!!!!!!

Even the great Ronaldo has realised how great the great man is as he begs to go back to Old Trafford. Rooney made him, who could blame him?

The Italians are running scared Beckham has got them all on Roo watch. Sleepless nights until Wednesday for the poor guys and then put to the sword.

Well and truly. Class. Quiet enough 1st half for Utd but he still kept running and was pushing AC defenders all over the place. 2nd half his class told. AC just scored tho:(

pato is better than rooney. no question. he made a fool of evra and the united backs time and time again. due to injurys in the team he was out of position on the right. huntelaar was non existent up front as going to madrid completely destroyed him. if pato's moved up as an out and out striker for the second leg, he'll cause havoc for the dodgy united defence. his dribbling ability is only second to messi's.

madrid are also a product of media hype. bunch of nothing players (except some like higuain and guti) when it counts. lyon destroyed them. the circus pony ronaldo was again nowhere to be seen when his team needed him. again when he doesnt score he's non existent. higuain again showed moments of brilliance last night

32_4_1 i see youv left out your beloved kaka who has failed to impress after his big move unlike the free scoring ronaldo. i dunno if you wear rose coloured glasses, blinkers or both but you really dont have much perspective. pato is a great dribbler, ronaldo cant dribble? dunno alot about pato but he is a top player however he dribbled straight at evans (who was having a nightmare) and lost the ball!! ronaldhino is the best dribbler in the milan team

I see there have been a few questions about England.

I for one would not begrudge them the World Cup. I'm not going to be cheering for them or wearing an England shirt, but if they do win it I'd be glad for a lot of their players. I'd be delighted to see Rooney & Ferdinand win it but also for Capello himself, one of the finest coaches in the sports history. We all take great pleasure out of the English league each week, so why begrudge their players the title?

I do however have a problem with their media. They will go into overdrive again in the summer with the colours of the players warm up socks being analysed.

Cant stand the ugly thug! Rio not too far behind him in my estimation, on a par with Terry.

Overpaid *******!

im not wearing any tinted glasses. ronaldos a great goal scorer. ive always said that. show me where i havnt?. a good goal scorer just like forlan. as we seen last night when he didnt score he was non existent as he's a bad dribbler, bad passer and has no vision. kaka on the other hand is playing well but is still a playmaker. they brains of the team. without people like him, guti etc, your ronaldos are non existent. they make the team tick. kaka will always be a more influential player than ronaldo, and when he does hit form he's unplayable.

and no ronaldo cant dribble. i was even watching various "best bits" of his season so far and he failed to beat one man. but he did do about 10 stepovers and all these wonderfull yet uneffective useless tricks before he got to his man and then passed it away. some skill needed for that eh. when ronaldinho does a trick its makes an impact. he leaves players for dead.

yes ronaldinho's a great dribbler but pato is in a different league in this regard. the line gets blurred between being a get dribbler and beating a man with fancy tricks like ronaldinho

I shouldn't try to reason with you but..

If Ronaldo is just a goalscorer, and without playmakers "your ronaldos are non existant", who was the brains of the United team that won the Champions League and created all the 42 goals Ronaldo scored the year he won World Player of the Year?

Rooney took his goals well, but he shouldn't have still been on the pitch. Two incidents, one in each half apart from his yellow card were worthy of at least another caution.

1. His careless (I'm being kind using the word careless) contact to Bonera's head with first his boot and then for good measure his knee after he had been dispossessed.
2. His studs up challenge on Thiago Silva which went completely unpunished in the second half. The CCCC should have a look at that one.
