but the boy Rooney
is different class no matter what money City have they will never have a player like him eat your heart Patrique.

Oh you HYPOCRITES.

Last year when I said Rooney was the man but bad management was using him as a work horse, you sneered at me. Now that Capello has liberated him, you turn on me?

I always said Rooney was a class act for an English player, the only world class player England have. Again many disagree.

On the matter of City, they once had Peter Docherty, who many rate as the finest player ever, certainly the finest Irish player ever.

They also had Anelka who I always said was the 3rd best french player I ever saw, after Platini and Zidane, and probably better than Rooney.

And it goes without saying that Robinho is better than anything United, for all their money, ever had.

Apart from George of course, Docherty's only rival as best Irish player which squares the circle nicely.

HYPOCRITES.

And the HYPOCRITES applies to all of you.

Last year one famous poster told us Ronaldo was the greatest thing since sliced bread etc etc, now it is Rooney.

Oh ye of short memory.

Meltdown is a bit strong.

United will still do well in England, maybe even keep winning the league, like say Rangers in Scotland who also have no money, but they will fade as a force in Europe.

If you see that as meltdown, well I do know that United supporters do take the club far too seriously for their own good, but I would still disagree with you.

A falling from grace perhaps.

Patrique doesn't matter who scores them they all count.

True, but if Wayne or Eoin get injured.....can you honestly see anyone else "getting them?"

I admit Berbatov is a brilliant player but the manager doesn't seem to know where to play him.

Better try harder.

Defeat at the theatre of dreams? Just because we are the only team to have LOST at Old Trafford this year....

In a few years we will be as good as Besikitas, mark my words.

Why in the name of the almighty would I have a breakdown, I support City.

Only United fans put soccer above life, love and liberty.

How anyone could take capitalism gone mad in the home entertainment industry seriously, is beyond me.

As I said about 6 months ago, I have a sociological interest in how soccer was sold to a completely new, middle class home audience, in so short a time.

Bar that, my only other interest is in winding up.

City win the league, I go to work next day.

United win the league? I go to work next day.

Even the 10 year old boy in "A Bronx Tale" understood that.

But he didn't support United.

Sorry about that Big Tom slant Pat, but i knew you would be a big fan. lol

Your dead right of course United are more important than life love and liberty. I never forget to bless myself when visiting the Theatre of dreams. If you've been recently you would have seen we have our own trinity these days on the forecourt.

If we had a modern day trinity who would it be?

Hard to choose;

Cantona, Giggs and Keane.

Or how about Ronaldo, Rooney and Giggs.
