Him and Ricardo Fuller.

Ricardo works with me, I know him well.

Anyone who saw Ricardo'sw goal as being in the same vein as Messi's cannot grasp the more subtle aspects of soccer.

Messi can go pst people from a standing start, no one else can do that at present.

Well, maybe Robinho.

Got to be having a laugh, that's what makes the man. He cares, the passion that drives him, the fire in the belly. A team of 5 Rooney's would beat 11 Messi's never mind 11 v 11 and as for Kaka to quote 26 you could have 15 and Robino well, i don't think its even worth the typing is it????

Great entertainment though that's some bait Jim???

I hope the lad is OK he looked in trouble, we will see?

He's a dirty tramp and thats what will stop him being a great.united needed him last night and what does he do, he pulls a stupid kick on an opponant that if united go through could end up suspending him.and instead of holding his energy he's back tracking doing stuff he's not ment to be doing and gets injured. dont think the poor gosan has a clue.

Any fool can run around kicking people... it's called being a filth bag, passion doesnt have much to do with it!

He was lucky to stay on the pitch... and I hope he's brough up on it.

Wait until you see his passion in a year or two when he leaves United for the big Spanish pay out...

United's run of incredible luck had to run out at some stage during the season....

Perfect timing to boot...Which is nice.

Couldnt be happier....

Fergie says the Roo will be back in 2 to 3 weeks. That's nicely rested for the big finish to end of the Prem and the Semi's of the Champions league. Put your feet up Wayne and recharge those batteries, the lads will carry the flag for you in the mean time.

I hope UTD still win the league but 2-3 weeks without rooney is a big loss.

Dell any team would miss the best player in the world, but i believe United should still have enough to keep us in the frame for the short term. I think if he was out for the rest of the season we may have struggled. Berba needs to step up to the mark against Chelsea, hopefully he will. He played well at the weekend against Bolton up front on his own. My only fear with him is he often struggles against the better sides. No better time for him to show he is a United player than now for him. I think this could be the making or braking of him.

It's no harm to be without Rooney for a few games. We will find out a bit more about some other lads now.Last year United were a one-man team, and apparently still are.As long as they play for United is'nt that what counts.

541077 Rooney is certainly on fire at the moment
I'm sure that this hasn't gone unnoticed by the shareholders
On his present form he is probably worth say £70m which is enough to cover the interest on the recent bond issue until at least summer 2011. Certainly worth considering becasue the Ronaldo proceeds will soon have dried up.

Though with Ronaldo, Tevez and Rooney out of the picture Glazers will worry about the value of the direct golden Global TV rights - if and when this comes about. What asset will they have to entice the potential 300 million worldwide premiership pay per view fans. Once Fergie goes any chance of a return of Posh and Becks ?
