Drumgoon were beaten by Blackwater Gaels last night in the division 3 final. Blackwater Gaels were trailing going into half time but in the second half came out well. Blackwater Gaels were in a 3 point lead coming up to the end but at goal at the last kick of the ball put them clear.

A game of two halves, if ever there was one.

Half time Drumgoon 1-4, Blackwater Gaels 0-02 A flukey goal from a long distance free, allowed float into the net, but Blackwater seeming very nervous. Shots going astray and passes going astray.

Second half a different story. Blackwater made a couple of changes/switches and cut loose, outscoring Drumgoon 2-08 to 0-03. Final score 2-10 to 1-07
