Should Dublin have a couple of Sams deducted?

Interesting point southern dandy! Paul Bealin of 95 team's Da is Wicklow man. Sean Doherty of 70s was born in Wicklow and the Timmons of the 50s and 60s played for Wicklow before Dublin although they were from around Saggart as far as I know on the Dublin side of the county border.

In 1902, Bray Emmets won the All-Ireland. And what county is Bray in? Wicklow. But what county did they represent? Dublin! Minus another All-Ireland for the Dubs.

Plus who will ever forget the '95 final when the country wept for its Northern brethern after the injustice of a Peter Canavan point and the Charlie incident. Not only would I take that All-Ireland off Dublin but I'd probably give it to Tyrone.

I see Cavan are after poaching a young Dublin Footballer, now if Cavan win Sam this year surely they'll have to give it back.

And lets not forget all the Dubs, Leitrim, Mayo and Cavan men who played with Meath ;)

536587 Canadians? Get a grip.Thats like saying Kerrys Darren O' Sullivan is English. What a load of nonsense.

If a person is born in Canada that means they are Canadian.

Are you sure of that PJ?

I demand Leitrim give back their Connacht Title in the 90's!
And Kildare should give back EVERYTHING they won in the 90's!

(Stupid thread Puds!)

I assume that is directed at me?

1. I see you still can't take a joke
2. I never said anyone had to give all-irelands back
3. We didn't poach him, he wasn't on the Dublin panel
4. Gareth Smith must be 27/28 so hardly "young"
5. Cavan won't win Sam this year

Ok, just to put a bit of order on things. Everyone seems to be agreed that the 1906 and 1907 wins should not count due to the lack of dubs on the dubs team! There also seems to be a growing swell of support to have the 1995 all ireland handed to tyrone as well due to charlie redmond refusing to leave the field and also canavan's late point being wrongly disallowed. I would also suggest that the 1983 title should be taken back off them as well due to the disgraceful carry-on of their players that day. How many genuine all irelands have they now?

For the bitterness they are causing you, those All Irelands you mention are even more sweeter for us now! Thanks for that.....and here's to number 23!

Leave the Dubs alone, don't they provide us with great weekends out when we visit the capital to annex Sam annually. The Dubs are an essential part of the GAA, even if some of their players are of an integrated 'county' background.
