yea its very suspicious that there's no actual video footage. I just seen a few more photos and the number 8 defo did connect with the boot, imagine the coverage this would get if it was a GAA, jackie fullerton would be in his element. Newry is often regarded as a nationalist city but I can tell you their fans are never segregated when they play at the oval. Larne would be conidered a unionist town by me personally but I don't think this had anything to do with the fight. Newry were a goal up and larne were down to 9 players late in the game before it was abandoned. This may be the reason. Sectarian violence is usually perpetrated by bigots who attend certain games but they cannot be seen as real fans. It is not common today for sectarianism between players to end in a row like this.
