That was a great Game that Limerick won in the end beating Cork in their own back Garden by a point I think

Those light balls were ridiculous. I was pointing over frees from 70-80 metres out when I was 14.

Yeah have 2 agree that brodericks point against kilkenny woz one of d best,David Tierney's point against d cats in d 05 semi final woznt bad either.
I tink d best point woz when d wexford player doubled on d ball from near midfield,i'm not sure who it woz against r who scored it.

Edoz it was Eoin Quigley and you and nocky are right to refer to it. I'm not sure it was the best ever but it was a fabulous point.

I would go for Broderick followed by Quigley. The Rock knocked the Shhtuffin out of your man though

Christy Ring Cup Semi-Final Carlow V Down 2006. Frank Foley the Carlow goalkeeper puts the sliotar over the bar from his own 13m line from a free.

Ciaran Carey for Limerick vs Clare in 96 definitely. Could never figure out why DJ Carey's point against Clare was rated so highly, the Clare defender fell, there was no-one around him it was just like hitting a free over the bar.

Have to agree...Carey takes it for me. Inspirational!!! He was one of the greats

Id say it goes in order of

Carey
Quigley for wexford
Broderick for galway

but id also like to put in a mention for this point by David Franks for Offaly against Waterford in 2008. twas a great score aswell....probably not as good as the boys but deserves a mention:
