I have no dealing with either club, im from south of the gap,but this burt and newtown subject seems to be a big thing north of the gap....

From what i hear burt had not 1 but 4 chances to play newtown ,but could not field at any stage.. Is this correct ?

The final game was to be played in castlefin and the ref and all the fans were there ............ is this correct?

The paper the next day says naomhcolmcille where promoted to d3 after beening awarded the points as burt failed to show again.....is this correct?

If all theses are correct naomh colmcille should be promoted .................correct

and under what grounds should burt be promoted .............There are none .....

Yes gaaa, all you have said is 100% correct, Burt won the Ulster appeal on a "technicality" If Burt do succeed in this they really should be ashamed of themselves. At no time did Naomh Colmcille do any wrong throughout this whole saga, it would be a downright injustice if Naomh Colmcille do not get to play in Division 3 this coming season. Note no Burt posters correcting anything you have stated gaaa, this speaks volumes...

democrat spot on man and gaa.fan, Both teams Burt and N.Colmcille, they DID NOT BREAK ANY RULES. the county board is to blame for all this saga, not the clubs.

Naomh Colmcille didnt break any rules but neither did any other team in the leage, would be unfair to promote them. Replay is the only option, perhaps the county board should compensate them financially.
