That isnt going to happen. Burt have made it clear to the county board that they do not want both teams promoted they want to play the playoff and let the winner go up. Ulster council also told this. Decision on the game is on Thursday evening.

If burt are so desperate to go ahead with the playoff why didn't they just field a team the last time it was scheduled?
wouldn't have anything to do with the fact that they weren't training over christmas like NC or the fact that they had players missing.
Hope NC go up, they deserve it alone for the effort put in by all in the lead up to the playoff.
IMO, If the game hadda went ahead that day there would only be one winner.

I cants see the county board promoting a team and then demoting them.
going by the last game they played in newtown i seen newtown would beat them at there ease far to strong around the middle and twice as fit ...
but on the other hand its on the day ,plus i here burt are still trainin and newtown are stoped,

Decision is made time to get over it, it was made by an outside group at the end of the day. Burt never had an issue with N.C always with the county board. Looking forward to a good game let the best team win.

FACT... Burt had 3 chances to play the game, 1st one they told the county board a local funeral was to be held in Co. Tipp, when in fact it was in Burt, 2nd time 3-4 players went to the UK on a Shopping trip, 3rd time they didn't bother to turn up... smells of running scared to me... So they decided best option was to get promoted by running to the county board then to Ulster... Hey Ulster sided with them but still does not change the fact that Burt knew Naomh Colmcille would beat them as they could not get players to train and knew the Colmcille were getting 20 players out 2-3 times a week... it would be a some joke if Burt get up now... and don't Burtman go on about Burt players making sacrifices to play on the Bank holiday Monday, do you really think no Naomh Colmcille players or management did not have to make similar sacrifices....

FACT THIS FACT THAT Burt were right all along the game was called of on the sunday, a club needs 4 day notice for a refixure after a game is called off, thats why the Ulster Council favored the appeal in Burts favor....Burt never had a problem with Newtown it was and will always will be the county board, and the same way round, DONEGALFAN2010 you and everyone else just cant take the FACT Burt will and always beat the county board.
