Aw Im so happy, cant believe we won the Junior Champ! Hope we honour Friel and O'Hagan, they were worth every penny. Corduff here we come! Cant wait to win it again next year and beat every team in the league!

Congratulations to Newton. Yer man Friel has had some effect on them and dragged them out off the doldrums. Beating Downings (over 3 games) Burt (over 2) and Muff (over 2) they fully deserve their championship crown. Good luck in Ulster. A good bet for promotion too with their momentum.

On a side note can any one tell me if Devenney played in the last Newton championship winning team of 1994? Or was he too young?

Naomh Colmcille are an absolute credit to your county! From what I hear they haven't been too successful in recent times but it's a true testament to any club struggling out there that with the right attitude from players and management, teams can be successful! After playing them today, it was a strong, intense match, and we would wish yas the best of luck in future years!

Hardly. Liffords most seniors players would have bother getting on Newtons reserve team. They couldn't even field a senior team last week maybe they will disband altogether?
