32-4-1 you must of not been in haggardstown last sunday. OLLIE (Louth) - Posts: 12224 - 07/01/2010 18:11:27 527169 Link 0 |
I don't consider Louth to be big rivals of Meath, ive never seen them beat us anyway, ive seen us beat them loads of times and they don't like it but sure that doesn't make us big rivals. Htaem (Meath) - Posts: 8657 - 07/01/2010 18:34:54 527200 Link 0 |
OLLIE I don't think he's talking about meaningless challenge matches. itsgreenandgold (Meath) - Posts: 312 - 07/01/2010 19:05:49 527239 Link 0 |

Sligo v Mayo is the BIGGEST rivalry in the history of the GAA, no other comes close! Poor Mayo won't know what hit them this year when we bate them out the gate!!! farmer2 (Sligo) - Posts: 442 - 07/01/2010 20:21:46 527352 Link 0 |
32_4_1 your right that game was hilarious, listening to them celebrating behind the goals before it was over. But they beat us in challenge match so at least they think there even...bless. trimmer (Meath) - Posts: 558 - 07/01/2010 20:34:28 527384 Link 0 |
There is nothing bigger than Meath and Dublin in my opinion. I do see Louth as big rivals but maybe thats only because im from east meath on the border with louth. Im not sure if people in south meath see louth as rivals but im sure they would if louth provided a good challenge in championship games. There is no one rivalry bigger or better than the other, it all depends where you are from. I do not understand or fully realize what a Leitrim v Roscommon derby means to a person from those places, ditto Tyrone v Derry, Armagh v Down etc bennybunny (Cork) - Posts: 3917 - 07/01/2010 21:08:07 527467 Link 0 |
cork hurlers are a long way from being a top team so should not be considered in a top rivalry... richiescats (USA) - Posts: 420 - 07/01/2010 21:12:04 527486 Link 0 |

Historically Tyrone v Derry, but in recent times Tyrone v Armagh/Dublin/Kerry. bydgoszcz.gael (Tyrone) - Posts: 54 - 14/01/2010 14:23:55 532813 Link 0 |

OLLIE County: Louth Posts: 1756 532833 its ironic jinxs.yous meath talk about putting louth in their place.but when you dont you just pass it off.anyway best of luck for the year-AN LU ABU! I 4 one have never mentioned a thing about putting Louth in their place Ollie! As soon as one Meath poster says anything derodatory about Louth then ye get all defencive & attack us all! There Louth posters who do the same towards Meath too ya know! Just look at the thread in the Meath Kildare game in 97. A Louth poster says they were 2 bad teams. So dont just judge a whole county on one or two posts! Jinxie (Meath) - Posts: 6347 - 14/01/2010 15:51:15 532923 Link 0 |
in all fairness jinxs there is more meath fans leaving comments on the louth page then louth fans on the meath page. OLLIE (Louth) - Posts: 12224 - 14/01/2010 17:55:41 533152 Link 0 |
