The other side of the 'wounded animal' theory is that the hurt beast wanders aimlessly into the forest, and gets devoured by scavengers. Scary thought isn't it. Think about that awhile. If this hurt animal is wise, it will rebuild before it shows its face again. Beware there are other vengeful wounded animals in the mist who have not eaten in ages.
