Dell i was enjoying this thread untill you started this nonsense again. On another note no one has explained why tyrone would need a paragraph about the Catholic population in there Development plan. The GAA is meant to be inclusive, meant to disregard Religion and Polictical opinion. Sad times indeed.

Patrique, Has Dellboy always been this big a ****? I don't know why you bother with him but I am your on the other hand you get plenty of enjoyment out of it. He seems to have this dellusion that anybody who has a disagreement with him has several names. The only one like that on here is himself. Dell and ta32 are the same guy as far as I can see. Just wish he would take away the Tyrone below his name. Pitiful really. ENJOY

Tomato, I was thinking about your last statement regards inclusiveness, and despite you not being able to prove that Patrique is the"only" poster from Ulster who wants integration want you to consider something. I am a Britsih citizen, not through choice, but I accept it as it appears to be the will, thus far of the majority in the six counties. I respect my Protestant friends and neighbours wish to remain British, although I don't understand it. They also accept that I would wish to be part of a united Ireland and understand why, yet they disagree with me, fair enough. The thing that gets me is that you are so pro-partitionist that you would deny me and my brethern in Ulster the ability to become part of one nation as is our birthright. Is this the type of inclusiveness that you suggest we extend to our Unionist brethern in Ulster, or does your concept of inclusiveness apply only to the way Northern Catholics and Protestants deal with each other. I would suggest that your attitude to the North is not only bigoted but devoid of any sense of intelligence.

Paddy O, I cannot get the link opened that you put up, and I am not exactly sure of the wording, but what I think Mr Darcy was saying that, in the past, the GAA was mainly a Catholic preserve, and indeed today is not much different. The facts are that Northern Catholics paid their taxes the same as everyone else in the North but did not receive the same services as others in terms of capital spending projects. This is a fact and not disputed by anyone. Lets be honest about the situation. After hundreds of years of civil strife, and 30-40 of internicine violence in the North, a fragile government and peace is only just being established and the ills of the past cannot just be disregarded to history. In time things will be normal, and we are slowly getting that way, some quicker than others. I understand and take your point, I hope you reciprocate
