I know McLaughlin is getting the chair next year, but who is replacing Cuthbert and Nellis? Are the championship draws made tonight? Will everyone find the Kinturk Centre? So many questions. so little time.

Strange decision this. The new chairman has an immense background devoted to 'the beautifull game' of soccer.

He would get the chair because he is the only one nominated for the position- he is also the serving vice- chairman which everyone in Tyrone is aware, leads the incumbent onto being chairman. (odd exception e.g Mickey Mc Goldrick). Even a Donegal man should understand this concept.

Dell your the one who needs the map. Donegal is clearly in the North. Then again, you also believe Ricey McMenamin, Eamonn DeValera and James Connolly are/were not even Irish. Catch a grip man, you're letting Clady down.

and is this proclaimed 'love' a criticism? i would imagine many a GAA man follows the premiership, a lot more so than our new chair. interests outside of the GAA cant really be a criticism. its not as if he is planning to open healy park to 'foreign sports'...

Lads, there is no point in arguing over whether he likes soccer or whether he should/shouldn't have got it. It's done and dusted and it's time to wade in behind him and all the Tyrone County Board.
PS i do know him personally and I know he is 100% fully committed to whatever role he takes on, so lets give him some time in the role before making up your mind.

I don't see what the big problem is with having an interest in soccer either. I'm also a regular visitor to Anfield and have been to other premiership grounds. The opening have Croke park to soccer and Rugby has been a big success on the money side of things. Some narrow minded people have certain hang-ups about soccer probably because they weren't so handy themselves with the footwork and could only pull and drag opponents on the gaelic field with bull strength. You all know the type im on about, there's a few of them in most clubs.

Don't know about that now Doc, The "McLaughlin clan" origionally came from the Donegal/Derry area. But your right in your views about on the ground ball game, If his chairmanship runs as smoothly as the fixtures this year then we're on to a winner.
