Rafterys of Corofin, is the greatest GAA pub I've ever been to in Galway or any other County for that matter. It's simply a shrine to the local club. The Portobello, near Rathmines, used to be a great Gaa pub also. It was a place where people from the Country would come to talk, watch and even play GAA with the local club, also called Portobello. Always had a big Donegal, Galway, Mayo and Clare crew....not sure if its as popular now as it used to be? Tribestown (Galway) - Posts: 89 - 13/12/2009 13:12:53 512362 Link 0 |

Duffy - Langtons doesn't really have much memorabilia at all, however, the players get fed their after training; all party their after all-irelands and you will often spot one or two of them in their on a weekend. A great pub and great supporter of the gaa but you wouldn't recognise it from its decor. Puddersthecat (Kilkenny) - Posts: 1692 - 14/12/2009 10:30:16 513033 Link 0 |
