Limerick Minor Footballers 2010

(Oldest Posts First) - Go To The Latest Post

What the story with the minors? Are they training or aren't they?
Surely at this stage they'd want to have some training done, I can't imagine that Kerry or Cork are adhering to the Ban and waiting til Jan 1st.

I heard somewhere that we've got the better side of the draw, could anyone inform me of the full draw?

We should make a good run of it anyway. I heard on another thread that Maurice Horan was involved, so at least it sounds like some who knows their stuff is in charge. At least it won't be full of Abbeyfeale fellas like every other year.

It's good that we are going outside the county for some expertise anyway.
Anyone have an ideas on who will be the key players? Are many of last years team underage? Have we any Declan Hannons of a football nature on the way up?

Thats a fairly strong statement centremid. Surely every lad worth his salt at 16 or 17 years of age in limerick wants to pull on the county jersey. If we're just going to give up at the first hurdle, our senior and u21 teams will have a very poor mental attitude. Attitude at senior level is bad enough as we know. I hope your proved wrong.

To centremid,

"A wise old owl once lived in an oak
The more he heard, the less he spoke
The more he spoke, the less he heard
So just learn to be, like that wise old bird"

Will Thomas Ryan commit to the footballers? i believe he pulled out of the u-16 team in 2008 less than 2 wks to their competition to concentrate on the hurling. lots of committed soccer players listed as well.
