I think theres too many Aldergrove players on it. I have seen them in action recently at senior level and although they got promoted from division 3 or 4 I didnt see much young talent on show!!

Just because the Aldergrove Seniors are in Division 2 and arguably 'not up to scratch' doesn't mean that the 4 players on the county u21 panel are not, 4 players don't make a TEAM & can't be expected to carry their seniors into division 1

Haven't seen any 'REAL' Aldergrove people on here buming & blowing about our four County U21's & four fine young individuals I may add both on & off the pitch. But i'll defend them from some of the anti Aldergrove bashing. If you have a problem with Aldergrove that's fine but don't come on here & ridicule these four young men giving up two nights a week to train with the County & represent THEIR County & THEIR Club with great pride. If these four where from any of the City teams we wouldn't see as much rubbish wrote about their Clubs but because they are from WEE Aldergrove lets kick them while they are down.

They can be four fine individuals but are they really good enough footballers? And to Cormack O Grady getting the call up. Hes not good enough to start so he will be a bench warmer. I honestly think this team have the personnel in there St 15 to 18 players to do well this year. Who is the captain?

McGrady isn't good enough. Had a very poor display against Donegal in the minor ulster championship last year and was lucky to start. Dermot McCann can't be far off captain this year and he has been on the the senior panel the past few years and has featured a few times

is this true about mc grady getting a call up? how can mc grady who is a fairly average player get a call up ahead of the likes of brian nesson, dessi mc clean, dermot mc veigh, declan lynch, diesel. three gort na mona lads there who should be in for a shout and not one gort na mona player on the panel, if i can remember back this team was a great team at minor level . . . . . any opinions?

this wasn't the good team they got beat by derry first round at minor. Declan lynch is good but not for u21 standard. you are forgetting that u21 county level is as good as senior level.
