Ronnie Bellew's 'GAA: The Glory Years' is my personal favourite. As someone who only became interested in Gaelic games a few years ago, this book gives a superb account of the two sports during 90's and just after the millennium. Very informative. Damien Lawlor's book on the Waterford Footballers looks like it could be a good read as well. Struggling to find somewhere to get my hands on it over here in the UK though as Amazon say it is unavailable.

Green Fields by Tom Humphries.

When I was young I spent hours and hours reading and rereading Raymond Smith's "Decades of Glory" and "The Football Immortals"

'Kings of September'

The story of the day that Offaly stopped Kerry's five and row. The best GAA book that I've read. I've enjoyed a lot of autobiographies by players / managers as well.

I take it you are talking about Part 2. I myself prefer The Official guide Part 1 that covers all the administration, membership, and organisational issues. A great read and a must read for any GAA fan over the festive season.
