They'd be a decent intermediate team.

Ah I think thats a bit harsh on the rest of the team. They are well able to survive without him.

aces- I was just trying to say it that asking that question was pointless as you could say the same for senchalstown as it is for pretty much every other club in the county i wasn't having a go at seanchalstown

Celebrations in Oldcastle after the ifc were short lived, the final was on a monday and all the lads were back training on wednesday night by which time many had also returned to work and college, so they didn't last any longer than 24 hours, that's not overboard at all. who ever gave you your information is very wrong.
Ridiculous thread, Cian Ward is a super player and Wolfe Tones are a super club to have come from junior a to senior champions, really are some bitter people out there.

Tones are Division 1 league champions - Ward scored five points - 3 from play. he's a class act and so are the two McLoughlins, Harro, Fox, McGrath, McGinn just to name a few.
Goals wins games - you are jealous - i'd say you won't get a kick in a stampede!!!

Tones would be a very average Intermediate team without Ward.

BBD: You need to stop being so biased as it is very obvious and doesnt hold any strength in any debate.

Well apparently they won a Leinster inter without him and the League just gone so they must be of some use and Fabio you must not attend too many matches as with the standard in Meath at the moment i can only see approx 7 senior sides beating them without Ward and thats the same amount that might beat them with him. Not too many Junior or Inter sides with Mc Loughlins, Harrington, Fox etc so lets not be silly

I would always say that Tones are overly dependent on Ward. However I am confident that without him there are not seven sides capable of beating them. What would happen if he wasn't there is that others would step up to the plate and score sufficiently more to win games. Indeed if you were to pick their most influential man I would say it is Harrington or maybe Ciaran McLoughlin. Ward is a great player but the Tones have proven time and again that they can still win without him and they would need to continue winning without him as there will come a time when he will be unavailable and they will have to just make do. They have the players though and I think that they would survive if he wasn't available but would be much more comfortable with him.
