willie griffin i forgot to mention in my last post should be at least on the panel if not even starting. Its baffling and mind boggling how he didnt make the final panel. He has scoring for fun for adare as of late averaging 1-7 1-8 per game. Would ye not agree with me lads.

i think their were huge mistakes with management.just in from the game.it was a match limerick cud have won.once more a lot of our fellas were to light and not able to compete in the physical side of the game.we had a corner back destroyed,we had a wing forward who got in the way and no centre forward.no decent ball played to our inside line,every ball was hit high to 3 small men.why didn,t downes start threatened more than all the others while he was there.tom o brien did very well as did nicky quaid.once more i think after watching tonite politics is playing a major part in selections.what apity.

Our intercounty hurling season is ended. Fitting really. Now is time for county board to sit down and assess whats wrong. Good start with the 3 man panel to select. Now they must ensure that our underage teams are getting treated and prepared properly. No more treating the minors and u-21's poorly. If the county board can react well to this horrible year then maybe all is not lost.

We play Dublin or Antrim in the minor all ireland semifinal and with a bit of luck

Hopefully the county board will use the time we have now to try and sort some of this mess out. We need a plan which will should start with our young club players. There is a lot of qaulity players at club level we need to prepare them properly for intercounty hurling at all levels.

heard frm a man who attended the well-na piarsaig semi final that downes and dowling were xcellent but that james o brien was terrible again.how he lasted full game against clare i,ll never know.i suppose there is no chance of a surprise frm ahane in the other semi.
