Best of luck to the u21s against clare tonight ihave to agree the starting 15 is questionable and given the right ball darach honan could run riot in the corner but hopefully tobin and mulcahy will do the same at the othe end. come on limerick GAA987 (Limerick) - Posts: 32 - 14/07/2010 14:42:25 708776 Link 0 |
willie griffin i forgot to mention in my last post should be at least on the panel if not even starting. Its baffling and mind boggling how he didnt make the final panel. He has scoring for fun for adare as of late averaging 1-7 1-8 per game. Would ye not agree with me lads. GAA987 (Limerick) - Posts: 32 - 14/07/2010 14:49:05 708800 Link 0 |
I am surprised not to see willie griffin on the panel if not even starting. declan30 (Limerick) - Posts: 652 - 14/07/2010 16:23:49 709053 Link 0 |
this county is rife with politics.the team tonight is not our best team.it is crazy.i didnt expect anything less with the management in charge. hitmanhart (Limerick) - Posts: 496 - 14/07/2010 18:45:25 709315 Link 0 |
i think their were huge mistakes with management.just in from the game.it was a match limerick cud have won.once more a lot of our fellas were to light and not able to compete in the physical side of the game.we had a corner back destroyed,we had a wing forward who got in the way and no centre forward.no decent ball played to our inside line, every ball was hit high to 3 small men.why didn,t downes start threatened more than all the others while he was there.tom o brien did very well as did nicky quaid.once more i think after watching tonite politics is playing a major part in selections.what apity. hectork (Limerick) - Posts: 1049 - 14/07/2010 21:46:24 709608 Link 0 |
Our intercounty hurling season is ended. Fitting really. Now is time for county board to sit down and assess whats wrong. Good start with the 3 man panel to select. Now they must ensure that our underage teams are getting treated and prepared properly. No more treating the minors and u-21's poorly. If the county board can react well to this horrible year then maybe all is not lost. SirShaughs (Limerick) - Posts: 388 - 15/07/2010 09:20:18 709710 Link 0 |

Sad thing is i seem to have a better eye for selection which scares me, Madden and Downes on the bench???. moved Hannon to midfield instead of full forward or centre forward?? freetaker1 (Limerick) - Posts: 758 - 19/07/2010 10:04:27 713832 Link 0 |
