no mention of ruairi o shaughnassey vey suprised that no one has suggestd him for the u21s was on minor panal before he has a great touch on the ball and plenty of speed to burn defenders when he gets turned on them well able to bag scores as well has been outstanding for blackrock this year

Lets be honest. There is a few Limerick seniors not on the U21 panel. That says it all about Limerick hurling. Leo O'Connor is closer to the game in Limerick than Justin is so I would not blame him. Justin is the problem here. He says he is not in it for the money but it helps a lot when you have a nice financial package and a free jeep to travel in. Offaly will win by 15-20 points and put an end to this miserable hurling season. At least we might have the 21's and the footballers in the next few weeks to follow.

reilly from b/brown shud start as he has been outstanding all year.i,d have serious doubts bout begley at f/back.toss up for g/keeper between murphy and hennessy and just maybe murphy cud be the choice.be intersting to see how a lot of these fellas play as they cud be the future of a senior team.this cud be a very tough game and limerick will have to rough up clare to have a decent chance.hope they can do it.

Glad to see Leo isn't another yes man there are too many fella's on Limerick panels of all grades because of who they are, who their father or mother is, what club there from etc etc. If Limerick ever want to win anything they need get somebody similar to Brian Cody in he didn't pick Cha Fitzpatrick last week and there was nothing said about it yet people in Limerick are questioning why somebody who is on senior panel isn't on the U21 panel??????????

Just because our young Senior team are inexperienced doest mean they will cave in and hand a
munster u21 title to ye! In case ye dont know we are the u21 all ireland champs and have half of last years team
again this year so will be there or there abouts. We already have won the minor for 2010 in Munster and the All Ireland
is not beyond them either!
So onwards and upwards for us just need to get the senior team strong and built in the next 2 years and
the 95-98 era will be back to revisit to Clare I have no doubt!

As for Limerick well what can I say, ye won 3 u21 all irelands and didnt still have a good senior team
and now even still blind to Justins great work (especially after performance against Offaly!), ye are
a shambles and I just wonder why ye one feel ye will win the u21's, like come on like, and what good will
it do ye anyway after the previous 3 ye won! and secondly how do ye feel after yet again loosing
another munster final to kerry in the big ball! I make it 5 ye have lost now,
91, 03,04,09, 10 God Help us!

considering colin ryan scored 3-9 for ye last year out of 4-22, ye were farely dependant on him last year. with him gone this year ye will struggle and with limerick having a team this year witout only 4 of the starting team last year i think there could be an upset on the cards for clare.

I thought there would have been an upset but once again a limerick team selection is a shambles.

Jason Hayes, John Riordan sean madden all left out.

If anyone was at the limk cork intermediate game riordan was among the best on the day at half back, hes 2 years experience on the 21s with that yet leo leaves him out.

There will be no shock unless the mangement make changes when we go the 5 or 6 points behind.

selection for this team is terrible in my opinion... 3 backs left out are easily better than some that are starting David Lynch, John Riordan and Steve Reilly (im not sure about injuries) limericks full back line is going to be under enormous pressure... changes within 15 mins
