A couple positions could be changed, iv hannon at half back because 21's this year were not great in the backs and he gave an exhibition for limk minors at cb this year. Team:
Hennessy (kilmallock)
David Lynch (na piarsiagh)
Dara Madden (ahane)
Jason Hayes (Bruff)
Paudie o Brien (kilmallock)
Pat Begley (Mungret)
Declan Hannon (Adare)
Paul Browne (Bruff)
Nicky Quaid (effin)
Niall Maher (Doon)
Bobby o Brien (Bruff)
Sean Tobin (Murroe/boher)
Tommy o Brien (patrickswell)
Sean Madden (ahane)
Graham Mulcahy (kilmallock)

A lot prob depends on the availability of o loughlin (kilmallock) cormac j power (ahane). a good few other talented players. Once the good proper players are picked and well coached then this is not a bad team. Theres a few i haven't mentioned who could also be close in the team.

tom o brien will be overage for 21s in 2010 so dont know how he can be picked, good club hurler but not great for county...
surely kilmallock, ballybrown,p/well, bruff and doon would have a few as there the last teams left now this year and are fairly strong...
surely stevie o'reilly (ballybrown) is worth a luck and still only 18...

Tommy o brien is still under 21s next year so he will prob be picked.....
A lot of ballybrown lads this year on the age, overage for next year bar mike kiely and the fella you mentioned who are good enough for the panel next year definitely!
I picked the best of bruff players but they have a few others who wont be far away either.
Also the well and allaughan gaels will have 2 or 3 more who will prob be on the panel too! along with na piarsiaghs kevin downes theres the makings of a good panel!

Good players for the panel certainly, i just picked what imo is around the best 15. I could name 5 or 6 more but it depends if they go to trials or whatever way they pick it this year after the debate over the fitness tests last year some players may not bother!!!

Thats almost 50 talented players to work with, and iv probably left out some more. Get all these lads in, they've all shone for their clubs, get them in, work with them for a couple of months and pick a strong panel of 30 odd from them. We really need to work with this age group, very important that they are developed and improved as players now, and they can be.

mmm you also forgot seanie tobin from your team and panel. i think your missin limks best 21s forwards by leaving graham and seanie off the team. im sure it was a mistake.

I think you are missing out on a full back who is going to command a full back line, Is there anyone out there that could hammer the full forward for the game

Ruari Shaughnessy (Blackrock) is worth a taking a look at
Gave an exibition of point scoring in the county junior final against Effin, will be playin in a Munster final in 2 weeks, always considered a bit light but bulked up this year and was physically able for it in Junior grade this year

i'm sorry lads Cian hayes has to be in the starting 15, must people who have seen him play will agree, i think him john riordan and lynch would work well together.
i wouldnt mind seeing john riordan further out the field, plays centre if u could put him at half-forward or back.
We will have a bettershot this year then last, i think kyle loftus is over age this year not to sure do.

Agree on riordan, should be further out the field, plays in forwards for his club. Hayes should be giving a go, we do need a full back, john riordan was there in minor game (not a full back as iv said above and lynch last year, hes a better corner back i think)! Jason Hayes would have to be the other man in the full back line, fine hurler and would tighten up the backs!

We have fine forwards if they are coached well and we will need a bit of physicality upfront in the likes of o brien, maher and sean madden. We should also look to bring on lads who are on the age. Obviously apart from hannon/downes who will be on the panel we should look to bring on the players overage for minor but good enough hurlers with a bit of coaching!
