A reliable source informs me that the matter is now in the hands of the DPP.

I heard from a "reliable source" that at the trials teh following stood out, a ball got lost in teh ditch, teh jerseys needed 2 washes and the cornor flag went missing.

Are the public welcome @ these trials??. Ye are all familiar with challenge games being kept hush hush so why are these trials being advertised so much.

Thanks Greengrass I just might take a wee gander over to see what sort of undiscovered talent lay dormant in Louth all along. My aspirations are very high giving what I've been reading on this forum with regard to certain players not getting their chance under the counties previous management team.

Onwards and upwards.

Almost 90 turned up last evening ,alas no Jack O'Shea's amongst them though. I here 30 or so will be returning next week-end in a hope of getting 8 lads to replace the 8 who have exited last years senior panel.

If Louth team has been so bad in recent years, why is there only 8 of the panel being replaced?

I think the management team asked every club to nominate three players that's how there were such high numbers involved in the trials.

Anyone know who the eight players are who have departed the panel I heard a few names, Sean Connor, David Reid, Benny McArdle, Colin Goss,Connor McGuinness,Kevin Rogers. I understand also that Mark Brennan has again turned down a new approach by management.
