Mickey Kettle is 29, Ger Cutt is 27, Kieran McGourty is 29 Mickey McClements is 28, Gavan Bell is 28, Kevin Elliott is 28. Is Dinny seriously trying to overlook these fellas in what will probably be the best year (s) of their careers? Am i missing something? Any opinions on this?

Completely true an athlete hits his peak at 28/29. Ask yourself this however, were are the majority of these players from? I think form the answer you deduce we all know the reasoning behind this particular decision.

The usual owl carry on eh? Whats the point anyway, Dinny is not a magician. He need HURLERS to win games, not north antrim fitness fanatics. The season will be as bad as last season which was very entertaining might i add. More of the same boys!!!!!

Osama you call north antrim hurlers fitness fanatics, if you read the roll of honour and see how many north antrim championship winners there have been compared to city championship winners in the last 40 years maybe you should call north antrim hurlers "Win the championship fanatics"

I would like to ask the question as to why Adrain Downey was not invited onto the county panel? He is a good young player. Any Belfast men have any opinions on this, Flankie?

I have heard Adrain Downeys name mentioned a few times on this just wanted to know is there anything to get excited about? Flankie will probably hail him because he's a Belfast hurler.

Never seen this Adrain Downey hurl but there is a serious amount of talk on here about him! Is he really that good? Flankie is mad thought he once thought Jim Connelly was going to make a comeback!

Adrain Downey is from the St Johns club in Belfast I went to school with him, he plays for Queens at the moment. He plays for Antrim Minors.

The question I am asking is however, Adrain Downeys name was mentioned as a possible Antrim player this year, is he at that level? Where is Flankie when you need him?

I can categorically deny that I am this young man. I have no idea of his political views on antrim gaa, he may well be a fellow staunch south antrim man but he is not me! You can try all you want to tarnish my good name, for I know all great men must take their fair share of abuse, from Jesus to Gallileo. But I do not wish those unconnected with me or my actions be dragged down as well. I knew what I signed up for when I championed South Antrim, as far as I am aware this young lad has not done/been doing the same thing.

And if you truly wish to know my views on him, I believe he could develop into a good inter-county hurler, but at the moment he is a bit to green. Needs a few years of senior hurling and more importantly south antrim under his belt first!

Finally Flankie returns. You seem to be touchy in saying you are not a certain guy. We never said you were so why say it? Strange. So is this Adrain Downey any good?

Ruairi Óg, I believe you are a prominent young goalkeeper, worth a look at by the county management this season, or have I got the wrong person?

Adrain Downey is the player called into question here all we wanted to find out was if he was rated in Belfast and the only response we have had has been from Flankie, who with all due respect is unreliable if you are looking for the facts.

There are other players I would like to find out about and I will ask questions about them in due course.
