I'm with Mugsy on this one. Limerick haven't won a hurling All Ireland since 1973 or a football one since 1896 & I would love to win one, (even a Munster title would do at this stage!) but surely Ireland winning the World Cup would be huge for the whole country & create a huge feel good factor throughout. Italia 90 was massive even pepole with no interest in sport watched the Ireland matches & the country literally stopped during matches. An All Ireland couldn't create that kind of hesteria.
