I see we're playing Cavan in the league on 7th Feb. This will give us an opportunity to welcome Tom Carr back to the Hyde. That's presuming it will be in the Hyde.

Thats just priceless how you managed to fit Limerick in between the three powerhouses of gaelic football. I cant help but giggle like a girl in this situation:)

540936 How do you figure a team who has won an all-ireland minor title, have a decent underage structure in general and who beat 2 teams in the championship last year as well as playing in division three are on a par with a team who didnt have a manager up until 6 weeks ago, are the 2nd worst team in division 4 and who have not won a championship game since 1977. Get a life.

Clearly all is not so bad in Roscommon Football. According to the above post they have just turned the corner.

They could go the hole way in the U-21. Have to be red hot favourites.

How are they red hot favourites Jack?

I imagine Galway would be seeing as their team is predominatly the minor All-Ireland winners of 2007.

I am always surprised by the amount of people who respond to Jack L, a good singer yes!, but this particuar Jack.L is always pushing the right buttons, and getting the response he wants. Does he have ros football at heart? Is he a sportsman? I have me doubts.

I am interested in in all GAA affairs. I am an ardent and proud follower of the sport and not from my armchair. I am basing my favouites tag on the fine underage structure in Roscommon. The talent is flowing from a conveyer belt.

And are there no conveyor belts in Galway or Mayo Jack L?

As for the undrage structure, Roscommon have made all bar one connaught minor final since 2004 and were very unlucky to win only 1. Underage success breeds success at senior level and a team needs players used to winning especially against the likes of Mayo and Galway, something we did not have until recently. The team is young but I believe there is massive potential.

Just quoting your good self rosfan.
