Just wondering how Roscommon football is in such a shambles at present, what are the reasons?

Cue the S*** talking. What are you basing this on? Or is this comment just put up for a reaction? We are a young team and we are building, end of story. You cant stay on your own page to discuss the hurling match today?? you would rather try and annoy other counties?

frickwood and rosfan 1 both of ye were the people this was meant for and not any other roscommon poster just done it for badness because i see both of ye had given smart answers on the galway and leitrim boards recently so i want both of ye to write a 1000 word essay on the state of roscomon football , im not anti ros in any way , have always enjoyed my outings to the hyde whether we won or lost big fan of dermot early snr and tony mcmanus , as for galway hurling ros fan 1 its by no means perfect but i have seen us win 3 senior hurling and im happy enough with my lot for now on that front ?

The people involved in Roscommon puts in a huge effort to get it to the level that it is at. Should qualify for a Connaught Final. Giant strides from the 20 point hammering which was dished out this year.

If you have no sense of humour there is not much else to say, your collection of my "smart answers from the Leitrim and Galway pages" leaves a lot to be desired.

Hang on now there, the Galway man asked a reasonable question about the shambles that is rosie football. He gets shot down by freddie and the rosfia as if he is talking nonsense. How do you define a "shambles" in the mighty rosie? One provincial title in 18 years, is that measured as success in rosie. It is cuckoo land you boys live in, "buildin a team" that is nonsense the depth in quality is simply not in rosie. Mayo are no world beaters at the moment for example but you can guarantee they will still have at least one trip again to hq next year. Do you realise how far rosie are off that sort of standard the gap has never been this big and we are just about top 8 at the moment, where will you find 20 points if up against Mayo. So fred enlighten me with your wisdom, why is rosie football not a shambles?
I had a g/f called rosie once.

so let me get thi sstraight 51longago,

is your point that by making it to croker once in the championship your a great team?

the day ros are competitive on are higher level will come long before the day Mayo can win a meaningful final and not bottle it like usual.

Agree with you 100%. Mayo always bottle it once they get to Croker to teams like Meath.
