That he came back to win the Sam Maguire is a tribute to the honor of an AI title. Kennelly left a professional sports position to earn the AI medal. It says alot about the esteem with which an AI title is held among professional athletes. mikeyjoe (USA) - Posts: 415 - 08/11/2009 14:48:46 478656 Link 0 |

Can we have a red font option on the threads please. I used to have the option of bold pen, but nbow that that is being used everywhere, I think some sort of glittery red is in order. thykingdomcome (Kerry) - Posts: 1206 - 08/11/2009 16:52:12 478695 Link 0 |

Kennelly came home to achieve his ambution. Fair enough and credit to him but why didnt he just tell the truth & say ' ok now i've got it i'm going back'? He didnt need all the stuff about will i / wont i. Unfortunately in my opinion he has been tarnished by the tackle on Murphy & his book. blu (Down) - Posts: 1240 - 08/11/2009 21:36:15 478968 Link 0 |

I bet he wont be "brave" enough to go out and elbow any of the AFL giants. whiterbannnas (Mayo) - Posts: 2441 - 10/11/2009 13:40:25 480256 Link 0 |
Will be a huge loss to Kerry - i don't begrudge him going back - pity he opened his mouth about that tackle and would have been better off not writing the book. His contribution in tying up Canty in the final was crucial to kerry winning and he scored a lovely point in the final also. Bon Voyage Taigheen. traleeexile (Kerry) - Posts: 732 - 10/11/2009 14:57:42 480323 Link 0 |

A huge loss in fairness. Made a fair old contribution this year. But, knowing kerry they'll just unearth some new 18 year old player to take his place and he'll be just as good anyway redandgreen (None) - Posts: 691 - 11/11/2009 00:26:53 480786 Link 0 |

I think the only reason many posters are glad Tadgh has back to Australia is that he wont be facing them next year. Real Kerry Fan (None) - Posts: 2957 - 11/11/2009 12:44:46 481038 Link 0 |
I'd be more worried about the GAA losing the likes of Quinn from Longford and possibly McCann from Antrim that a small fish from a big pond to be brutally honest. CheFinny (UK) - Posts: 1358 - 11/11/2009 13:45:11 481102 Link 0 |
