Georgelee, stop talking puck, you probably wernt even at the just the fact ye got 3 goals after we had a man sent off! And another thing the Offaly Meath game is not the curtain raiser, why would they show Longford Louth on tv??

Taraking>> hahahaha your from some county to be on about the back door clipping laois on the way out... do ye even know the last time meath made a dent in leinster or even got to a leinster final?? Offaly have been there only a few years ago...

LukeFitz - yes i was there. JP Rooney and Mark Brennan were both in the clear for goal chances in the first half. The ref from Tipp or somewhere was carrying yez for most of the game. However I would love to see Offaly beat Meath but what I saw in Tullamore would'nt beat kilkenny. Yez have no idea how far off the pace yez are.

Then would you not be worried we scored 3-10 off ye? If we are "so far off the pace" what is a good team going to score on ye??

Id say it will be a poor ad for Leinster football. Looks like all eyes will be on the big clash at 3.45

Tonorio - we're not in great shape but we have a handy opener, very experienced panel and will get to the leinster final. Kildare are over-hyped as usual and we can alaways beat them. Then its Carlow/Wicklow/Westmeath in the semi final so no problems there. There's a lot of improvement to come from us and it will happen this year.

good man georgelee, the way your talking its as if ye get to a leinster final every year!!.. your optimism has to be admired but realistically yer still going to get nowhere... and if yer getting all excited after scoring 5-9 against us your truly misguided...

marky mark yes i do think those laois results put laois in the same bracket as meath and kildare with dublin just ahead of the pack. my personal opinion is that dublin and kildare will improve the most from the league and i think meath will be next followed closely by laois. then theres offaly and wicklow who would be the only other teams with an outside chance of reaching the leinster final.

And like is said squid, it's because rte want to televise the better of the 2 game being played there, so they moved it forward to 2 o'clock!

When the times where TBC on the GAA site I rang portlaois to see when it was on & the woman on the phone said they had a provisional schedule from rte & were scheduling games to match, but that all times & so on are provisional until the first week of May, then that is the final list.

Yeah thats more or less what the person in leinster hq said to me but couldnt say anything officially.

The Tyrone Antrim game is also fixed for 3.45 so it would point to that alright.

639984 Both Portlaoise games are being televised LIVE.

More nonsense from squid. The ONLY reason Meath are playing first is because rte are televising it, followed by the Tyrone v Antrim game. No other reason squid.

"The ONLY reason Meath are playing first is because rte are televising it".

The only reason Offaly and Meath are playing first in Portlaoise is because RTÉ are showing Antrim and Tyrone live at 4:00pm.The Meath and Offaly game is basically the curtain raiser for both the main game of the day Antrim and Tyrone and also the main game of the day in Portlaoise Longford and Louth.

It all depends what way you want to look at it Jinxie. If Meath and Offaly were the big attraction surely they and not Tyrone and Antrim would be playing at 4:00pm.

Squid,

Like you, the answer is very simple. Only one of them could be on at 4. Seeing as theirs a double header in portlaois, they put Meath first as fans going to portlaois still had another game after it. Whereas in ulster there would be no game to put on after it.

I still dont see why you were saying Louth was being televised live tho? What was that all about squid?
