I think that the athy team is over hyped.. I still think that patricians are the best team in leinster as u14 and u16 Leinster titles prove but this year maybe were a bit 2 young.. And I'd defo say that at least 10 of their team should be on the minor team this year 2

CPC Kilcullen (which has given a number of the current Kildare panel and has never been a GAA school) have won the Leinster C championship for second year in a row. Very encouraging for the surrounding clubs.

Congrats to the Salesians College U16s who won the Dublin Colleges Final last Friday. They are now in the Leinster Semi Final. This combined with Salesians winning the Dublin Senior B Final is a magnificent Double and it augurs well for the future of football in North Kildare, with Ardclough, Celbridge, Sallins and Clane all with players in the panels.
