ah lads
ha,ha,ha, thats very good ye brightened up an odd mans heart no end after reading yer posts.Everything was sooo boaring on this page that i almost started reading STEEL`s posts. Now let me see the boy`s or should i say young men that coming between ye and a good nites sleep must be from one of the BIG 5 CLUBS ,Ahane, Adare.Kilmolick,Croom and Camogue Rovers. What is it with ye Big 5 ye want no one from the small clubs playing on the county teams.Did ye ever think that their might be better players than Barry, Lynch, and kelly.

'an puc' wat u on about? have u ever seen jeremy lynch, david barry and sean kelly play? there is no doubt about it, they should be on the panel...i dont want to be naming players currrently on the panel that shouldn't be there because that is just bad form...but there are quiet a few... its all politics and who u know and not how good a hurler u are...yes there are really good hurlers on the panel but the others making up the panel are just not good enough

ah lads
Lets be serious ,why is it when ye cant get yer own clubmen on the co. minor team there must be "politics" or someones "daddy" is a selector
Q.I. LADS==name the father who is a selector on minor team
Q.2. LADS==If david barry is so good a player why is he not on senior team named by "wingbk2" on kilmolick senior post
Q.3.LADS==did jeremy lynch make ANY of the u.l. freashers teams in 2010 ==NO!

Sean Kelly has gone back an awful lot in the last few years, under16 a few years ago he used to lord it aound the middle of the field but lately he doesnt seem to be the same player. The reason he wasnt picked as well as jeremy lynch and david barry was either they didnt go to the under 17 divisional championship or didnt perform. If you ask me its better to pick on form rather then who you are or who you play for.

And politics have nothing to do with a team when you are from hurling strong holds lik Adare or Killmallock

Having expierienced it myself its an awful transition from minor and u21 hurling to senior. So I wouldnt be too hard on the young fella for that! Also the Killmallock team named on another page was most likeky named by an u14 water boy...

'an puc'....just want to answer those questions of yours:
1: the fathers are on the county boards, not goin to name them.
2: on the senior panel at 17? be realistic!
3: Well in jeremys case, watever the story is with the colleges team, he should def be on the limerick minor panel as he is better than a lot on it at the moment

'ciotog'..i see u mention david barry and jeremy lynch hav been dropped because they didnt go to the 17s divisional tournament or play well....well wasn't d.barry helpin kilmallock to a 4th 21s championship in a row..and all the kilmallock lads were excused by the limerick manager ger hegarthy as he told them that the 21s championship was more important than the trial matches.....if it all goes down to form then these lads should definitely be on the panel...lynch started on the 17s team in mallow and barry won a Minor and 21s Premier County title with Kilmallock. as regards kelly, he was a standout performer for adare minors last year..all ye on here...have ye ever seen these lads play? i dont tink ye hav ye just readin the comments and then posting

every club in the county takes exception to when one of their own players gets dropped when they are convinced they are good enough. regardless of the reason, it is a regular occurance and in fairness down through the years, kilmallock have had more than their fair share of county panelists so dont think there will be too much sympathy here. in every panel, there are always a few who are there or there abouts and feel hard done by, thats the nature of it. If they are good enough, they will get a chance somewhere down the line, no point complaining about it now regardless of why you think they were dropped.

Where would I be reading about Sean Kelly on this? I witnessed him in the county final, vs Newcastle below in Adare and again against Na Piersaigh, didnt impress me on either of the days. Would you mind naming some of the young fellas who arent worth their place on the panel so?

Your obviously a man with a grudge over something. The panel is picked, get over it.

Can i just make a point please limerick got beat well by tipperaary last year and waterford a week or 2 after the reason for this was
1... The only forwards who did anything were William Griffin and Kevin Downes with Mike Ryan doing well the other players didnt touch the ball as far as im concerned with missing 2-4 in the first 10 minutes v tip and loosing a lead v waterford...
2...How many Killmalock boys were on the panel???zero yes i know they were playing Football and soccer constantly and this year playing hurling instead of football
3....Who won county this year?? Killmallock ...the point i am making is that they will be the heart of this minor team so stop giving them stick as this is an important time of year for soccer so leave them finish whatever soocer they are playing please because if we loose them then theres nobody good enough to replace them. Best of luck limerick minors 2010

Treanlewis O but i have my facts right some of the kilmallock lads were injured or sick last sunday morning but that evening they togg out and played soccer team sheet and report on the match on mondays leader they must have a magic bottle what excuse will they have this sunday as kilmallock are playing in fai These players are only fooling the hurling management while others that were giving full committment were dropped i.e.c.barry j.lynch b. lynch r burke and kelly.
just that you think i am picking on kilmallock whos hurlers i have always admired there was another member of the panel missing on sunday morning and played soccer sunday evening with granvell in youths cup Well before the starting up of the minors and on this site i flagged this problem especially with the kilmallock players and my words have come to pass
