i would have to agree that it is a disgrace that the minors don,t even get a sandwich after training.people must now realise that all the money is being ploughed into the 2 senior teams in limerick and county bord forget about the future players coming through.i know for certain that after under 14 training on thursday nites that their are rolls and drinks for every fella who is training, however i think this is down to a seperate sponsor for this panel.what a pity that some of the senior bord officers don,t attend some underage sessions to see the effort being put in by coaches, players but more importantly the parents who take their children. hectork (Limerick) - Posts: 1049 - 16/06/2010 12:10:33 678921 Link 0 |

an puc we shouldn,t be surprised by the actions of the county bord,i think i could safely say they know nothing that is going on at under age level in limerick.you would never see an official at an under age game in limerick, maybe we should thank our lucky stars for that as they would probably make a mess of that aswell. hectork (Limerick) - Posts: 1049 - 16/06/2010 17:31:42 679374 Link 0 |
an puc is right. its unbelievable that the youngsters should train in that heat and not even have a bottle of orange or something supplied by the co board. i know that a while back one selector in particular was annoyed with the board and discussed this issue with the strenght trainer in u of l one night and the trainer refused to train the team unless they were fed afterwards. i saw hegarty there too at the time and he made a phone call there and then to someone on the co. board. i watched a bit of their session and they were going at it hard so a sandwich and a mineral shouldnt be too much to ask for. county board wake up and mind the young lads who are the future of limerick hurling. fullback81 (Limerick) - Posts: 91 - 16/06/2010 19:51:51 679535 Link 0 |

Best of luck to the minors on Friday. I believe Ger Hegarty is doing a great job. If ye win it would be a major boost to hurling in Limerick. (Ye might even get a jaffa cake from the CB. Cant believe the posts about not getting fed!) I hope true fans turn up to support Limerick. maorfoirne85 (UK) - Posts: 68 - 23/06/2010 19:50:21 685344 Link 0 |

best of luck to the minors tonight.i do think tho that the match shud be played in kilmallock or ballyagran.bigger crowd & a better atmosphere.gaelic grounds a complete waste of time for this match & the under 21 game as well.all the years that these games were played in club grounds were great occasions.we need this win tonight hitmanhart (Limerick) - Posts: 496 - 25/06/2010 12:29:22 686849 Link 0 |
