why are we so surprised with the performance against kerry, that was always on the cards. this has been the worst prepared minor team in a long time ,maybe worse than last year. the facts webb is a solid goalie ,dempseywas very good tom ryan was good going forward and mike ryan saved us, after that not to many plus points

An Puc, I dint think it is fair that players at Minor level are rated in the manner which you did. While there may be nothing particularly offensive in what you said it exposes young amateurs who are working really hard for Limerick Hurling to have their efforts rubbished. Those lads have worked really hard since January and it isn't fair to have their efforts summed up in a short soundbite. These lads deserve great credit and encouragement.

minispud is right. of course we should be beating kerry by more but they were always going to be well up for it. limerick got the win and its a semifinal in 8 weeks time. would like to see the ard scoil boys sharpen up though, they looked sluggish.

Ok minispud ur right i was a bit harsh. but I agree with the post above BRENDEN O CONNOR should be not alone in the 24 he should have been in instead of the lad who wore no.14who struggled with the big kerryman.Brenden is a big strong powerfull forward who scored at will for Croagh and A.S.Ris.

I cant believe ----started! It was clear from the match against Kerry he is not up to the standard, or has been all year! Typical Limerick Gaa, always going backwards because of favouritism(commonly known as 'politics'!). Limerick will reach the success of other counties because of this-shame, really!

I think that is an understatment 123,the words complete over haul come to mind, lets not mention the players who played against Kerry.B.o.Connor and Richee Ryan and D. Reidy are all scoring forwards who were`nt even togged out as subs. What is the story? In the backs, which were wellbeaten by the Kerry forwards,David Murphy, along with Pa Carroll,B.Murphy and what happened David Barry and Cahill Ryan. These are a few options for Clare

an puc i agree wit you completely...brendan o connor who was very good for ard scoil shud at least be on the bench!! and be pushin for a startin place...Richie Ryan wud be a much better option than Willie Hickey who just isnt good enough to start and David Reidy is a very skiklful forward who can pik off scores at ease..and he wasnt even togged out...dont understand whats goin on in the managements heads?...Dave Murphy cud do a job at wing back if o donnel moved in centre back and Hannon went up centre forward...Pa Carrol is only 17 and not good enough to start this year...David Barry was dropped a wile back as far as i kno, which stil confuses me. he hurled exceptionally well last year for Kilmallock in their minor and 21s winning teams..he along with a few others should not have been dropped, eg: Paul Doona and Sean Kelly..as regards Cahill Ryan i cant comment as i dont kno who he is.

Looks like our Banner Minors are setup for a Munster Final against Cork or Waterford after Clares shock great win agains Tipp minors
given that limerick struggled to even beat kerry, clare should beat limerick easily even in the gaelic grounds.

Our Senior Team as ye know is rebuilding but hopefully our u21s will do well again in the u21 all ireland championship and beat ye again this year
in Munster.

Clare minors will hopefully hammer Limerick after Cork Seniors do it to Limerick in Thurles! I live in hope that
Clare will hammer Limerick and put limerick back even further than they are!

Iwas in Boher G.A.A. new grounds last nite watching my son training with the minors,it is an outstanding new ground easly the best surface i have seen in the county.Well done Boher G.A.A. Club
The reason I am on is to complain about the way the minor hurling who are in a munster minor simi final are been treated.Iwas with other parents some whos sons had come from finishing exams, others had come from the far side of west limerick and after training very hard for over 90mins all they got was a soft drink and a few choc biscuits. This is just not on.In fairness to the team mentors when asked about food they said their hands were tied that it was a COUNTY BORD DECISION ! so they went to the local shop for food. This happened a few weeks ago when they played Offaly,my youngfella came home starving no gurb after the match following another COUNTY BORD DECISION!.Look it as much as I wish both senior teams the best they have nt a hope, but these boys are the future and a soft drink and a few choc biscuits after training when our SENIORS with COUNTY BORD members are gouging themselves with STEAK is not the way forward!!!!
