By God there's a Hurley family where I come from and they have produced many's a fine Hurley and still going strong. Business is booming !!

As a Limerick man it pains me to say it but the O'Connor hurleys are superb. They are a different shape to other shticks all right but make it very easy to rise the ball as well as solo.

And they're tasty for baytin cattle on roads too. The shape of the boss ensures the beast responds to your command ..... 'GOO-uhhh-WAN' followed by a crack on D'hind quarter......Baysht goes in the gate, job done.

Sashman, Brian does indeed still make hurls in Drumcullen. His relative Ger no longer makes hurls, he was based in Rath village at the timber turning. Brians sticks can be nice, get him to make up a pattern of your choice.

Sashman, He does indeed make hurls still, headin down for a few next week myself, highly recommended, hes located between birr and kinnity, take a turn off to the left from that road for a sign to kilcormac, hes the next house on the left up that road on the side of a hill
