Rockno1, there's nothing wrong with Paudy Martin from Eglish, he's just not good enough to start.

Rock 3:05 Loughmacrory 0:07 - loughmacrory of to very bad start need to get their campaign opened next week against a poor strabane side. rock seem to be a team that are going to sit at top of league or there abouts this year. Pomeroy 3:11 Strabane 1:08 - pomeroy also a team to be beat but cant say that it was a tough game by the outcome. pomeroy at home to newtown next week cant see them slipping up here either and strabane away to loughmacrory with both teams looking to get first points on the board. Newtownstewart 1:10 Eglish 1:16 - again not a surprise although heard eglish were point down half time with newtown just not fit enough for whole game. newtown away to pomeroy next week another hard fixture. eglish to play killeeshil next week with killeeshil of to bad start with only two points could be another two points to eglish. Moortown 1:12 Aghaloo 2:08 - tight encounter for moortown this week but won by point. seems like moortown rock and eglish will be teams to beat, moortown will play gortin away next week, with gortin of to bad start although picking up what i would think a good point at home to augher could that be them picking their game up, we will have to see. aghaloo away to edendork next week which i believe is going to be one of the closer matches next week with maybe a draw on the cards. Eskra 0:12 Urney 1:10 - there was few mixed feelings with predictions before this game some people going for urney others thinking urney got lucky against gortin in the week past. urney winning this one by a point. again i heard first half urney leading by 6 at half time nearly threw it away when archie came out middle of field and eskra not missing much in final third. eskra play clann na gael next week with clann na gael winning at weekend will be another close match. urney after losing first match have 2 wins now but play rock at home next week will be testing game for them. Derrylaughan 2:12 Killeeshil 1:07 - derrylaughan seemingly winning easy here but if i remember correctly they seem to always get off to good start then start to slip up but will be hard team to beat first half season. they play augher next week with augher drawing at weekend i will give this one to derrylaughan. killeeshil of to poor start surprisingly and are away to eglish next week with eglish unbeaten in 3 cant see them slipping up here especially at home. Clann na Gael 1:10 Edendork 0:11 - good win for clann na gael to get first points on the board was expexting edendork win but proven otherwise. clann na gael to play eskra next week and with eskra slipping up at weekend there could be closer encounter than some may think especially with clann na gael at home. edendork at home to aghaloo which i am going to put my neck on line and say aghaloo to shade this one. Gortin St Patrick's 0-12 v Augher St Macartan's 1-9 - this was the first draw of the year in the top 2 divisions. was expecting augher to win this as gortin were off to bad start but not surprised that gortin picking up point at home.
division 2 shaping up nicely now, two teams that were expected to lead the way are with 6 points and play each other second last game of season, a few surprising results so far. its all set for next week again. any comments feel free!!

Urney v Rock - Great result for the Rock at the weekend but can see Urney winning this 1-2 points, hard place to travel to with NW referee as welll, hope I'm wrong. Newtonstewart v Pomeroy - Pomeroy, dont think it will be as easy for us with injuries, maybe 2-3point win Loughmacrory v Strabane - Match abandoned, only jokin Loughmacrory by 4-5 points. Cant see it finishin 15-a-side as both teams need the win Gortin v Moortown - Tough one to call, Gortin prove they can play, Moortown show they can travel and win well. Moortown by 3-4 Eglish v Killeeshil - Killeeshil not off to the greatest of starts, every week needs a shock, this could be it in this derbey, Killeeshil by 1-2 Edendork v Aghaloo - Edendork going well so far, bar one slip up away to Clann na Gael, Aghaloo will be depending on home advantage this season I feel. Edendork by 5-6 Clann na Gael v Eskra - Eskra another surprise package this year in my view, great win for Clann na Gael, Eskra by 3-4 points Augher v Derrylaughan - Another cracker this weekend, could come down to the wire. Depending on levels of fitness and injuries if all is clear then Augher should make home advantage count. Augher by 3-4 points

great win for the rock at weekend, i think the 1 man team nonsense has been firmly put to bed now.. tell you what louch will struggle if they don't get there act together it was our worst performance of year. urney next week up there v.tough be happy with anything from that game. and 2 the dromore man stick to the div.1 forum yourman martin is midfeild for eglish and is suspended for getting sent off again us... and to sm your right about urney being tough place to go, but the netown ref mcnamee took our game at weekend and showed why hes a top referee best display weve had in rock for a long time

You're quite right about McNamee. We had him ourselves against augher, great referee and probably best in the county at present, lets the game flow and deals with niggly stuff after the play has broken down. What i meant is that going up to Urney its intimidating for any referee and it is unlikely you will get someone of his experience again. I can see that if it is close towards the end that the referee may be swayed by the home crowd, no disrespect to Urney supporters.

it is a bit early in the season but bar the rock game eglish have been getting big wins, moortown to, both teams on 6points. I wouldnt rule out my own club pomeroy if they can get injuries sorted and keep the team together. Augher would be another team in the shake up. I think as a dark horse this year we shouldnt look past gortin, not the best of starts but they came good towards the end of last season and seem to be the same this year, sunday will tell if they are up for it. loughmacrory need to get winning and winning well to be taken serious from now on, perhaps saving themselves for championship. the next few weeks i reckon we will see how the league is going to pan out.

'You were as far out as a lighthouse with your prediction on Strabane'
Dell predicts Strabane to win, Pomeroy do so by 9. You see the thing about Dell is that because me and him have had our disagreements he constantly predicts and hopes Pomeroy will lose. Yes that's true, he doesn't get on with one person from Pomeroy on an internet forum and hence he hates an entire village. I'll let you make up your own mind about that. Even worse is as an Urney man he desperately wanted Strabane to win if you can believe that. Either Dell isn't a football fan at all or he's not even from Urney. Personally I think it's both

Whats the craic with Strabane? They seem to be missing quite a number of players who would make a big difference to them. Is John McLaughlin, Warner Mullan, JP Gallagher, James O'Reilly, Ciaran Friel, Stephen Stewart, Richard O'Neill and Sean Arbuckle all not playing this year? I heard that one time Tyrone panellist Benny McGettigan is back living in the town after a few years in Boston where he was a mainstay of the McAnespies side, is he not playing ball this year either?
