Loughmacrory will be looking to bounce back after a dismal performance in Derrylaughan. I think they should just edge Moortown with home advantage being key.

Think home advantage will be critical in this game and would just tip Loughmacrory as a result. Big game for both teams with promotion in mind. My views on the other games:
Aghaloo v Rock - Aghaloo to built on opening win. first game of season as well
Augher v Pomeroy - Draw - 2 even teams
Edendork v Newtownstewart - Edendork to win after impressive win at gortin
Eglish v Clann na Gael - Eglish
Eskra v Derrylaughan - Derrylaughan
Killeeshil v Strabane - Strabane
Loughmacrory v Moortown - Loughmacrory
Urney v Gortin - Gortin to recover from opening loss

Have you any evidence to back this up. In defence we have Aidan and Peter Girvan. Two hard working and committed players you will ever meet. Aidan just out of Tyrone U21's and a future prospect in seniors. Ryan Crilly is another excellant defender. In midfield John and Neal Mallon form a good partnership although Neal is not back from injury. In the foward line we have Martin McCreesh, one of the most reliable fowards in div 2. We also have Conor McCreesh although young he is showing signs that he could be as good as his brother. Paul Murphy and John Ward are also reliable free takers in our line up. Last week we pushed Eglish all the way only to give away 2 soft goals. This team is alot better than giving credit for. We are a small club with a small selection and like other clubs are missing players for other commitments, ie, injury, work commitments abroad, personal reasons.

You'll be glad to hear I am the latest of the Pomeroy fans to join this sight, however you will find I am not going to get ahead of myself as medals aren't handed out this time of year. I wouldn't rule out Pomeroy going up this year, it took us a while to rebuild after 2004 and where in the past we where happy to sit in division but after Greencastle last year (which no one gave a chance either at the start of the league) I think that has inspired clubs like ourselves to do well as im sure every other club in the grade.

Dell I'd worry about your own club rather than Pomeroy, Pomeroy are on a different level to Urney. Division 3 beckons for Urney, it was a sad reflection on the GAA in Tyrone that a team that poor could even reach the second division

pomeroy plunkett, i find great entertainment in how disillusioned you are about your club. Urney are an embarrasment and we are shocking yet both play in the same division as Pomeroy and have done now for a few years now, bar a few wins to finish last year pomeroy would have been close to relegation zone 2 years running. knowing a few good footballing fellas from pomeroy i know you don't represent them, but i do enjoy reading your posts for comedic value if nothing else

Aghaloo v Rock - Aghaloo to build on an impressive away win (Aghaloo by 2 points)
Augher v Pomeroy - Pomeroy don't seem to have much about them and Augher are quite a young agile team (Augher by 3)
Edendork v Newtownstewart - Edendork will have too much about them for a distinctly average side (Edendork by 5)
Eglish v Clann na Gael - The Clanns played the full 60 with dooher and still couldn't win (Eglish by 4)
Eskra v Derrylaughan - Derrylaughan are the much stronger outfit (Derrylaughan by 5)
Killeeshil v Strabane - Much as I dislike Strabane they'll have too much in the tank for a poor Killeeshil side (Strabane by 3)
Loughmacrory v Moortown - Very tough game to call but i think the game could swing in Loughmacrorys favour due to home adv. (Loughmacrory by 1 or 2)
Urney v Gortin - Gortin are a very decent outfit and were unlucky last week, will bounce back on sunday (Gortin by 4)

"pomeroy don't seem to have much about them"

How can you write that and expect to be taken serious, pomeroy are improving year by year. Our current minor team are controlling games in their division, 100 points in 3 games and conceding just 19. Say what you want about killeeshil (no disrespect), it was a derby game which pomeroy won both senior and reserve without having to get out of 2nd gear. I know pomeroy are still rebuilding from 2004/05 but have a good feeling they will be in the shake up some the business end of the season if they can find the mentality to match their skill on the pitch, and with a proper pomeroy man managing I believe they will.

tyrone fair play to you on your predictions 100% on the mark, good win for the rock yesterday proved a few men wrong, no mccreesh or gourley and beat aghaloo on their own patch, maybe there is a few footballers around the rock..

Not much chat out of PomeroyPlunkett this week. He had me believing that the Augher team were going to have to pay in at the gate such would be their level of spectating and indeed marvelling at the Gaels from the highest village in the province in Ulster. I was shocked and annoyed at the level of cheek shown by the Augher men, how dare they try and compete with Pomeroy; PomeroyPlunkett had me also believing that we may well have roll out the red carpet and take out the best China for for last Sunday's fixture........... Very dissappointed in the end result. Pomeroy are a bit like Quinn Insurance, they promise so much yet deliver so little...............

The early season posts all had Gortin and Loughmacrory as two of the main teams this year in Division 2.
What has happened? The Lough have had 2 tought games to start but must have expected to pick up some
points by this stage. As for Gortin, got a bit of a tanking on Sunday from Urney - whats gone wrong.......
