No shame in being a point shy of the county champions with 13 men

how can that be team of the year when no urney men are in it? a team that got to championship final and finished 7th in league i think and this was only because they fielded a weakened team in a few games because of injury and work commitments!

Good question Monmoose, I would say we are as well equipped as anybody in the Division with the core of the team in their early 20's and a few big players due back next season. I am in no doubt we would take a few pastings but would fancy our chances against a couple of the lower teams.

474714 Easy answer to this one.

Top 2. Moortown, Gortin.
Championship...... Augher
Play off spots........ Augher,Clan a Gael, Killeshill(if men stay), Possibly Stewartstown

Relegation...... Newton, Urney.

i would like to refer to this comment at start of season!! not one of these are right. gortin disappointing finishing 13th newtown having a relatively descent first season finishing 11th. urney 7th with a good second half to season. well done to eglish and derrylaughan best of luck next year.

Have to laugh at that team, i take it the person was a derrylaughan man? The reason Derrylaughan won the championship was because some other team (urney) put out eglish for them. Eglish dominated intermediate football this year, Derrylaughan are a good side if your asking me will they survive with the big boys next year? NO!! Will Egilish? MAYBE, THEY HAVE A CHANCE

A ridiculous team of the year. You've given a place to 3 eglish men who werent even the best players for Eglish during the year. In my opinion Caolan Daly, Peter Mc Cann and Ryan Mc Kenna from Eglish should be on that team ahead of the men you mentioned.

The Lough are missing an unbelievable amount of players at the minute, not sure if they would be able to compete in div 1, will be a tight one against the Rock on Saturday. All the best to Loughmacrory!!

that intermediate team by iknow was so silly. so obvious from derrylaughan. fair enough a few players would make it eg. mcstravog and gervin but not 6 or 7 of them as u have stated. u wud have to put pascal from newtown in nets then hhave the likes of gallagher from newtown then johnny lafferty, aidan lynch from urney. dooher would still make that team. the title to your post should have been best team from derrylaughan including some players that evryone knows about from the west.

would someone please clarify a certain topic for me....i was on the tyrone gaa website earlier and was viewing the league tables and it appears that loughmacrory are in 2nd place, this change therefore logically had to come from their win at the weekend over the rock, but my question is does playoff results add to the final league standings as i personally thought it did not.
