What happened to the Moortown PRO?
I see plent yof notes for all the other local teams but the Moortown publicist has gone to sleep.
He managed to contribute notes for about three weeks and then went awol.

great draw yesterday for urney against derrlaughan, urney no johnny lafferty and missed penalty and had enough chances to win the game but still great point. only the second team to take points from them this season. end of season shaping up nicely. any predictions on promotion and relegations yet??

I was up at it. Good tight game. Scores level at half time. Eglish got a man sent off for two yellow cards mid way through the second half but Moortown failed to use the extra man. Eglish went 4 up and great defensive work by the Eglish rear guard meant that anytime Moortown went forward, their attacks floundered. They also finished up with 14 men in the last few minutes with their corner back receiving a straight red.

Cheers Rio, Eglish take a bit of stoppoing now fancy them to win it, Derrylaughen outsiders but expect Eglish to have the edge. Big Derby for us at the weekend would be a massive boost to get 2 points up there but weve lost yet another key play in captain peter girvan, but weve overcome injury losses already this year so if were beat it won't be used as an excuse.

Eglish were pretty good on Thursday. Their defence was tight and their midfield were on top although their forwards missed a lot which could have been costly on another day.
Moortown contributed to their own downfall. They failed to make switches to remedy weaknesses at the centre of their defence.
Their discipline was very poor eg about four frees moved forward into scorable positions for mouthing at the referee..... but whats new?

Easy win for Pomeroy at the weekend, the Rock just aren't on our level. We'll dispose of a poor Urney side in the Championship then it's down to the luck of the draw, Eglish are a good side but apart from them there's not much else left

Hardly an easy win for you now Plunkett. We handed you your second goal and hit far too many wides. It could have went either road right up to the end.

Sure who cares about the League, Eglish had it in the bag weeks ago. The Championship is what it's all about and Urney are in for an awful hiding

thank god people on this site are starting to realise that pomeroy plunkett is not who he says he is. The Rock should have won the game, they were the better team. This friday night is a different story, Urney have already turned us over in the league and we haven't played 60mins of football since the clan na gael match. Its guna be very tight but hopefulli we can just shade it. All the best to the Urney for friday night. from a true Pomeroy Gael

A Pomeroy man who's wishing Urney luck against us? An Urney man if ever I saw one, would explain why you didn;t knowabout the player's meeting a few weeks back. Probably one of Dell's many names on here, the man has conversations with himself
