good stuff give them Pomeroy boys all the stick you can its very much desereved... think I mind hearing one of them calling us a shocking outfit as well and another fella saying earlier in this thread a prediction against the rock in every league game wouldn't be far wrong, but things going well about rock now, 4 r 5 strong u21 teams in a row there the basis of the team very young team and should push on finish high up that table but unlike my knowledgable pomeroy counterparts you won't here silly talk about doubles in the rock, a strong league finish is the aim.

Pomeroy man is surely not silly enough to judge Urney on eglish result. i seen them a few times this year and that was far from their best.

Being a big fan of Micky Harte dell surely you can admit "one swallow doesnt make a summer" Although disappointing the result last week I'm not going to make excuses. We just didnt perform to our highest standard that we have shown at home all season. We're still not in a bad league position and with a few of the teams around us having to make the journey to Pomeroy (The Rock, Eglish, Derrylaughin and Lough) I still think we can finish in a good table position, lookin more likley play offs at this stage unless teams above us slip up. At the half way point its still tight at the top and anyone of 4/5teams can still be there or there abouts come the end. Anyway enjoy it Urney.

Eglish v Strabane, tomorrow night in Strabane. I'm predicting an upset here and plumping for the Sigersons. Eglish have absolutely no form against this team and have always struggled with them. As well as a long trip up the road on a Friday night to the notorious Ballycolman estate, I can see us going back down the road empty handed.

Good win for the Rock last night, dominated the game for long periods near slipped up giving Moortown 2 late goals but the main thing is the 2 points, no reason why we cant push on and contest for that league, weve proved that were more than a match for any team in that division, great character in the team.

Agree with you there. The first half last night was our best performance in a long time. Neil and John were excellant in midfield. The fowards were all flying and itching for a score when its usually down to 1 or 2 scorers. They are finally showing what they are capable of when they play direct football instead of the silly messing about they sometimes do. The second half did let them down at times but as you say the 2 points is what was important.
