Rock v Derrylaughen - this is going too be one of the tightest games in round 1 but if i had to choose i would go derrylaughan by small margin
Clan na Gael v Killeshil - Clan na gael seem to have picked themselves up after shaky start. killeeshil still really trying to get to grips with division 2 this year. clan na gael by 4-5
Urney v Edendork - urney, word is that they are really ready this year compared to other years and few weeks off has given some players time to get back from injury. edendork have not really come up again any of the big teams yet and when they have they have been beaten therefore urney by 3
Eskra v Newtonstewart - looking at this straight away you would say eskra but newtownstewart can surprise people, i am expecting high scoring game with maybe only few points in it. eskra win

Urney won by 4, had a very good performance, can see them progessing well. Score was 3-6 to 0-11
Newton drew with eskra, eskra didn't perform as well as they can, could have won, lot of wides.

Going on earlier talk on this topic from certain Pomeroy posters I thought it would have been impossible for Urney to beat the so called Kingpins? What happened there?

How come the Strabane V Eglish game was called of and not being played until friday the 25th June. thought there was to be no postponments.

It was my understanding that Eglish had a golf classic on or something like that. I also heard that the game is to be played on a sunday, not too sure of the date. Would seem unfair when you look at the distance other teams had to travel on friday night. Would of been a great opportunity for teams to possibly close the gap on Eglish.

My mistake on my last post, it is down for the 25th of the Tyrone website.

Bit of a disgrace that a club (Eglish) can call off a fixture for a golf tournament. I have heard that Strabane did not want game moved.

It was made very clear by ccc that there will be no postponments. if two clubs agree and 48 hours notice given to ccc secretary it can be changed to another day of that week. Not a fortnight back. there was a couple of other teams that Friday didnt suit but they couldnt change.

651248 ...Urney won't stay up, they are easily the worst team in the division and that result against Eglish proves it

It's all gone quiet over there....
