648671 Eglish hammered Urney 6-10 to 0-5

That's one hell of an embarrassing score-line from 2 teams in the 'same division'

Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug..........

What's that noise????

Chug, chug, chug, chug, chug, chug...........

It's the Eglish juggernaut approaching!

All that chuggin would make me believe there is some sort of engine problem and perhaps coming to a hault. Derrylaughan, Gortin and Loughmacrory before the mighty Pomeroy away from home, not gonna be easy wee man.

Can any Eglish man tell me if Ciaran Colton is playing for Eglish and if so, how is he playing?

Between Eglish, Pomeroy and Derrylaughan already. Our 3 point win over Eskra was misleading, we were about 12/13 points up with 20 minutes left before easing off. Eskra aren't a bad side but we blew them away. Only two defeats this season, a narrow one point loss to Augher which we probably should have won and simply a bad day at the office against Newtownstewart who showed against Clann they aren't that bad a side. Pomeroy looking well placed for the double, on form no team can compete. Eglish doing well but they still have some big games left, we'll see after those if they're still top. Agree about Urney, that's simply embarassing. Worst team in the division by a long way, won't be long until they're back where they belong in Division 3

Another funny weekend of results see eglish hammered urney but they are notoriously bad travellers and the talk was they had a lot of men out.. We got over the line against augher 8 points up into middle of second half, with a combination of mistakes from us and soft frees for augher they nearly ended up getting a result.. surprised by the lough result they looked like they had no fire power against us and that was with R. Ward... Good win for pomeroy heard they were 13 up at one stage but all teams get a purple patch as long as you come out the other side with the 2 points... love to know how the new rules were implemented in other games, the ref we had must have blew 30 times for handpass not being right think its an absoloute disgree to bring in new rules in the middle of a league, the stop start nature of blowing for frees over handpasses is ruining the game, the bigwigs in croke park may get it sorted sharpish.

Yes Ciaran is playing for Eglish at the minute. Started off the year very well, was quiet yesterday but he's a quality player.

Attention now turns to Championship over the next few weeks!
Any predictions? My own predictions would be..

Loughmacrory St Teresa's v Strabane Sigersons =LOUGHMACRORY..very good side! When they get going they are great to watch and i dont think Strabane will be able to handle them!

Urney St Colmcille's v Edendork St Malachy's =EDENDORK..Urney will not challenge at all!

Moortown St Malachy's v Aghaloo O`Neill's =AGHALOO..was a close encounter with Moortown winning by a single point in the league but can see Aghaloo cause an upset!

Eglish St Patrick's v Gortin St Patrick's = GORTIN..they are going strong in the league and I will expect them to have guns blazing against a good Eglish side and knock them out. Should be a close encounter thought!

Pomeroy Plunketts v Augher St Macartan's =POMEROY..too strong for an Augher side without Cassidy!

Clann na Gael v Killeeshil St Mary's =CLANN NA GAEL..two poor teams but the Clanns to win.

Eskra Emmetts v Newtownstewart St Eugene's =ESKRA..Newtown will not be able to cope with Eskra! Theyre going strong and have a lot of experience!

Rock St Patrick's v Derrylaughan Kevin Barry's =ROCK..very good side playing another good side but i think Rock will see the win!

Have Moortown turned the corner after a couple of bad results.
Heard they dropped their prima donna on Sunday and a lot of young players did much better than in previous weeks.

Urnai will stay up this year. They were missing 10 starting players yesterday.
There better than Strabane by a country mile.

My post wasn't added so I'll tone it down a bit. Urney won't stay up, they are easily the worst team in the division and that result against Eglish proves it

Urney will stay up under strengh against eglish but once we get these players back they will win few motre games . At the top starting to shape up well now but to early to call a winner.

Dell is both an Urney and a Meath man add to that a referee, it's a wonder he gets so much respect on this forum.

Why all the anti-Urney stuff?
What did they do?

I think it's a case of what they haven't done to what they have done. I myself am not anti-urney but enjoy reading the coming and going of messages from Dellboy and other subscribers.
