Its still early days, and EVERY team is still in the championship, the first round hasnt even been played!
I cant see Eglish winning the double, promotion yes,double.. no!

Eglish looking good for the double eh? When's the last time they won a championship at senior level?

All this talk of Eglish is nonsense. I think if you talk to anyone inside the circle they'd acknowledge that they are not even favourites for either competition. So to the young lads talking them up - SHUT UP!

eglsigh for the double wise up, maybe league, there going well so far, but eglish dont have it easy in the 1st round of the championship, playing gortin, and gortin show last year that they can play ball too. could see gortin beat them. anyone agree?

Predictions for the 1st round of the championship?
Loughmacrory St Teresa's v Strabane Sigersons... Loughmacrory to fend off the sigersons even with out ward
Urney St Colmcille's v Edendork St Malachy's... Edendork the marginally better team in a fixture containing two terrible outfits
Moortown St Malachy's v Aghaloo O`Neill's... Moortown much better on paper, but Aghaloo ran them close in the league, Aghaloo to cause an upset
Eglish St Patrick's v Gortin St Patrick's... Gortin to prove their championship mettle
Pomeroy Plunketts v Augher St Macartan's... Augher to firmly remove Pomeroy heads from their holes
Clann na Gael v Killeeshil St Mary's... Clann na gael to scrape another terrible tie
Eskra Emmetts v Newtownstewart St Eugene's... Eskra to destroy Newtown
Rock St Patrick's v Derrylaughan Kevin Barry's... Derrylaughan to breeze past the Rock

Finscealach, few strong statements you must be a fine footballer, don't think there are any terrible outfits in the Division with it being proved anybody can beat anybody on any given day, few good games in store

Edendork St Malachy's vrs Strabane Sigersons = Edendork to bounce back with a drab 1 point victory

Derrylaughan Kevin Barry's vrs Gortin St Patrick's = Derrylaughan easy, the only team that can challenge the Eglish juggernaut

Clann na Gael vrs Newtownstewart St Eugene's = Clans easy

Augher St Macartan's vrs Rock St Patrick's = Augher to waltz it

Aghaloo O`Neill's vrs Loughmacrory St Teresa's = Aghaloo, the Lough nothing without R Ward

wat standard of football do you usually watch finscealach, it must be some secret division were champions of champions play each other that has set the bar for your standard of football, almost evry prediction you made was followed by a negative comment.. the way i would describe the league is competitative and proper way it should be too

Your comments after your predictions make me laugh, me thinks that after just 2 posts you may just be on here trying to get a reaction? Can i ask if you have watched a division 2 game this year? Eglish, Derrylaughin and Augher will all know they will not have it easy this weekend, Clanns without county men will be tested by Newtonstewart and possibly an away victory. I think you should go watch a few games before jumping to rash predictions.
