I heard that Ronan Ward unfortunately broke his leg yesterday. This would be a major blow to the Lough's recent revival and future prospects in Intermediate this year I would think.

I dont think Strabane should read too much into beating Moortown. I think it was more a question of Moortown's inadequacies away from home than a great performance from Strabane. May is never a good month for Moortown.
Still think this is the worst Moortown team since early seventies.
Don't think they will do much for a few years but they are very strong from Under 14 down.

ronan ward will be a big miss to loughmacrory and aidan cassidy for augher, as they both picked up injuries at the weekend

Did you see the strabane display tho ? Moortown are not a bad team at all maybe away from home they are not as strong but no where near a weak team

Seen Strabane play and no disrespect but they didnt seem to have anythin to offer. Poor side, Moortown are going through a rough path but come the end of the season they'll be there abouts where as Strabane will be in a relegation battle.

Has there been a more impressive victory than the Plunketts at the weekend? Totally blew them away, brilliant football. 3 great wins now, a narrow defeat against Augher and simply a very bad day at the office against Newtownstewart. Still think we'll be looking at promotion this year

if it was that simple then moortown would have won the game, good win for strabane. as for our defeat could have no complaints eskra were a lot better and hungry than us.

LOL- What day do you suggest? Maybe a Wednesday morning up in Moortown with a size 4 football and one of your own men reffing- make the Strabane players kick with their weaker foot and only shoot for points. The fact of the matter is that Moortown were beaten by ten points. The second year in a row that the same opposition have beaten them in the league

Next weekends games.

Pomeroy Plunketts --- v Eskra Emmetts --- ESKRA, will be a tight game but think eskra will edge it

Killeeshil St Mary's --- v Moortown St Malachy's --- MOORTOWN, think they will get back to winning ways, killeeshil struggling

Eglish St Patrick's --- v Urney St Colmcille's --- EGLISH

Edendork St Malachy's --- v Strabane Sigersons --- DRAW, will be a very close game

Derrylaughan Derrylaughan Kevin Barry's --- v Gortin St Patrick's --- GORTIN, will be very tight but think gortin will have the upper hand

Clann na nGael Clann na Gael --- v Newtownstewart St Eugene's --- CLANN NA NGAEL, should bounce back after bad defeat at the weekend

Augher St Macartan's --- v Rock St Patrick's --- AUGHER

Aghaloo O`Neill's --- v Loughmacrory St Teresa's --- LOUGHMACRORY, lough will be too strong for aghaloo.

anyone agree or disagree?

Pomeroy Plunketts vrs Eskra Emmetts = Eskra, they've been going well so far

Killeeshil St Mary's vrs Moortown St Malachy's = Moortown, far too strog for Kileeshil

Eglish St Patrick's vrs Urney St Colmcille's = Draw, Eglish could get over confident and Urney might rattle them

Edendork St Malachy's vrs Strabane Sigersons = Edendork, too strong for Strabane and home advantage will show

Derrylaughan Kevin Barry's vrs Gortin St Patrick's = Draw

Clann na Gael vrs Newtownstewart St Eugene's = Clann na Gael, too strong for Newtown

Augher St Macartan's vrs Rock St Patrick's = Rock, theyve been going well and should have another 2 points

Aghaloo O`Neill's vrs Loughmacrory St Teresa's = Aghaloo, they should benefit from injury too Ward
