And pray tell NOWINS ... what are your plans? Do you have any? NO! You obviously have switched from BOWSEY and we know what he was about... negativity. A real GAA man true and true! Obviously some Carlow team ruined your dreams at some stage of your formative years and this has regrettably (?) shaped your personality and your comments since? Sad... most people with true blood in them can take their beating and move on... carlowman (Carlow) - Posts: 1881 - 24/01/2010 20:59:28 541340 Link 0 |

Hey lads, how many clubs in carlow??? How many play hurling?? Seems pretty obvious at the minute that carlow have replaced dublin (who have made it) as the county with the most potential to make a breakthrough in the next ten years....a break through being win a leinster minor, a leinster schools or generally become competitive at minor level. I can't understand why HQ doesn't make it mandatory to field a coláiste na Ceatharlach team, same idea as waterford and dublin. Also, if ye're stuck for ideas for getting more club teams together i can speak with experience by saying that the divisional system (adult and underage) works wonders.....north carlow, mid carlow and south carlow etc. Having competitive fixtures and varied opposition at a high standard is what keeps a young fella interested, i would therefore advocate playing in the league of a neighbouring county and championship at home. hurlinspuds (Cork) - Posts: 1494 - 01/02/2010 19:12:18 548591 Link 0 |

We have made progress but have a long ways to go before we can really take on the real big guns with full confidence. That is where we are and... the future is looking a bit brighter with Div 2 hurling for 2 years in a row being a very big plus. The age profile of the players is also encouraging and the minors being put through their paces is also very encouraging. So, things are looking promising an we have good men there keeping a close eye on the players in training. carlowman (Carlow) - Posts: 1881 - 03/02/2010 20:51:37 551008 Link 0 |

dual supporter, that you tube video is a cracker, lets hope we have reason to show more of these during the year. burmabullet (Carlow) - Posts: 29 - 04/02/2010 16:36:32 551803 Link 0 |
Dual Supporter... agree the video was good and well scripted! Lets hope that we have a lot of counties cringing when they think about Carlow.... after we play them, and not before. carlowman (Carlow) - Posts: 1881 - 04/02/2010 18:58:59 552042 Link 0 |
Just wonderin does anybody have the team/scorers from the Limerick match. The nationalist online edition only casually mention the game in another article rmc33 (Carlow) - Posts: 11 - 05/02/2010 09:41:36 552342 Link 0 |
