Why bring Oldcastle into the equation. They won the Intermediate championship fair and square and should not be affected by this farce at all.

Not a bad idea to bring oldcasatle into it. It could be a bit late to bring in rule changes though. Id like to see to relagation semi finals between the 3 teams bottom of the groups in senior and the intermidiate champions. This would keep the country teams who won a handy intermidiate champioships away from the super clubs that are now forming in big towns around Meath [ashbourne, navan, trim, donboyne, etc] that have been built up through the celtic tiger. No one wants to see the likes of oldcastle getting hammerd next year.

You obviously dont know oldcastle! Very young and skillfull team,i reckon they can do well. At the start of the year, intermediate teams are told the aim is to play senior football, that aim is drilled into them. Your proposel is ridiculus and makes winning the intermediate championship 3 times tougher than it already is. It defies the point. Win a final.then play a semi final against a possible tougher opponent, and if lucky enough to win play an even possible tougher team in another final? Some of the clubs youv mentioned arnt even close to winning a senior championship!

Bring Oldcastle into the equation. . . . . . . . Dont be so silly and narrowminded. Your solution is to bring a club that have won the intermediate championship and deserve to be senior next year and have earned the right to try and prove themselves at senior level. Its poople like you with ideas like that why the situation is as it is at the moment. . . .

Number 2, very harsh to try make a champion of a grade play off against a higher grade to prove that they should play there, eg Oldcastle as you mentioned. Oldcastle won the Intermediate championship very deservingly and so of course have the right to play in senior football next year.

Another classic post from you john. Super clubs eh? What makes a super club John? & how was the intermediate championship handy won. Were you at many games in the intermediate championship this year? With all your posts knocking Oldcastle, you must be a little worried about something heading into next year are ye?

I agree 100%. The intermediate championship is a dogfight and they have earned their status as senior on merit. To suggest that they should be dragged into this mess is ridiculous.

If ya take a browse over the recents threads about club of the year & cian ward you'll see that JohnHanlon has a serious chip on his shoulder when it comes to Oldcastle.
He even managed to turn the cian ward thread into a slagging match about Oldcastle for no reason. Ive heard he was turned away by a few ladies around Oldcastle & its hurting him a bit so he's turned his attentions to making stupid remarks on here.
Poor lad is more to be pitied than laughed at really.

Yes, saying that trying to drag Oldcastle into a relegation playoff between 3 other clubs is childish would be more mature than the poster who suggested it. Well spotted hillman, those grinds are paying off for you, & thank you for the compliment, its much appreciated!

Johnhanlon and anyone posting these negative stupid comments on Oldcastles ability, do you know what your talking about. You seem very small and narrow minded to suggest bringing Oldcastle into it, I'd say you like to think you know a thing or two about football when in fact thats all you know, one or two things the colour of your county jersey and what a football looks like. You seem very immature and childish to me and to everybody reading these comments, you son should really know ur place on these matters, a place in front of your tv commenting on match of the day, to yourself

This is totally unfair on hillman2. If you cant come back at him with footballing facts dont bother taking cheapshots at him an johnhanlon for that matter. I know Johns comments can be a bit negetive towards the weaker clubs but its totally unfair to say he has been turned down by girls in oldcatle. The man could have a wife and kids reading this for all you know jinxie.

Do you want a tissue sam?
John (which ill hazard a guess, is not his real name, like yours sam) is simply here for the wind up, like yourself & hillman & kit. Anyone who reads back over any of yer posts will clearly see that ye only rabbit on at the same topic with no facts to back it up. Ye dont contribute anything else to any other topic on the whole board except come on here to stir things up.
Fairly childish stuff really.
As for you questioning facts, I have asked on numerous occasion for ye to back up some of the stupid statements made about the running of clubs, the state of the grounds ye slatew, but ye cant manage any, I wonder why????

how did a thread between walterstown, rathkenny and relegation end up with oldcastle and words between dell and jinx and a couple of the biggest WUM'S on these forums, dell and jix ye really should know better, boylanabu is right its boring now and should be shut down, considering a silly thread on the worst pitches in the county was shut down after only 9 posts

the only reason oldcastle keeps coming up is because you cannot let anything go about your club (if thats what you would call them). you keep losing arguments and then come back with posts from weeks ago and everyone on this forum is just having a good laugh at your expence, also why would people answer your questions when you dont answer ours when we ask you about you club, just because you dont like the answers to them urself, pathetic really!! obviously you didnt leave the house again today, you should try get away from your computer for at least a few mins and venture outside maybe, who knows you might even like it!!

Hillman, What questions have I not answered? Ask away, I'll answer. You have not been able to back up one of you stupid comments with a fact, not 1! as for asking if I left the house, of course i did, like I do everyday, what has that got to do with anything? What says I hafta be at a computer to post a reply? As for not letting anything go, im well able to let things go, just cant understand why you are so obbsessed with out very successful season? Jealousy maybe? I think so...
