fearnuarua......... at last someone on this thread that knows what they on about and no hidden agenda behind his remarks.... i will agree that for the first time this year AN SPIDEAL lost their disipline but not in a dirty way but silly thing like kicking ball away after free against them and silly things like that. the sending off was for a push in back with both hand to a kiltimach player after he released the ball right in front of ref which in my opion was harsh but ref has it down in report as striking...... depends what way you look at it.... it was mostly the young lads that were doing these silly things and dont know was it because it was a connacht final and big day or what it was......... we were the better team on day and we threw it away in extra time.we missed four points in a row in the first half of extra time and also missed two goal chances in the first few minutes. but as i said before we started out this year to get to intermidate and we done that so all the rest is a bonus. this is a good young AN SPIDEAL team and they will suprise a few people next year

An Spidéal lost because of two things.....
(1)kicking the ball into the sweepers hands evrytym and not working it up
(2)Discipline

And Hw could An Spidéal be dirty if some of their starting backs didnt foul once in the championship all year....

anspidealfan, a push? it was striking! and it wasnt the only incident during the game, as well as after when a young kiltimagh player offered his hand to a spideal player only to receive a fist to the head, not dirty? i think so! and spideal the better team on the day? please! they did nothing but kick long ball into full-forward line, never tried to play open, expansive football, no plan b when long hail-mary ball didnt work, best footballing side won hands down!
