Most brothers on a championship winning team

What's the record for both club and county? I may be wrong but I think that the Caltra footballers had 6 Meehans and the Castlegar hurlers had 6 Connollys when they won their all-Irelands. Ballyhale Shamrocks had a scatter of Fennellys in the 80s. At county level, the Spillanes of Kerry and the Hendersons of Kilkenny come to mind. Laois won Leinster football titles in the 30s with something like 4 Delaney brothers and their uncle on the team. Anyone know who holds the records?

Can't imagine there'd be too many more than the 7 Fennellys. Are there 4 or 5 Cannings at Portumna?

That is some achievement. Did they ever play as a team in the all-Ireland sevens?

I think eleven All Ireland medals came into the Connolly household in 1980. I might be wrong but I heard it somewhere. Anyone know?

There were 7 Gallagher brothers playing for the dreaded St John's in the 1960 (The Johnnies) when they were arguably the best side in Ireland.

Which is why the Johnnies invented the club championship with their own unofficial Ulster championship which they won every year against the like of Crossmaglen, Bellaghy and Glenn.

The Burren team of the 80's that won 5 Ulster Titles and 2 All Irelands at one time had 9 McGovern Brothers on the panel, although I think no more than 6 or 7 where on the field at any one time. Three of them had the distinction of playing for Down - Brendan, Vincent and the best of the lot Tommy....

On the Ofally team that won the all-ireland football final against kerry in 1982 I believe there were 2 brothers Richie and matt connor and also their 2 cousins Liam and Tomas O' Connor. I believe there were 4 connor brothers (John, Jim, Tom and Din ) on the walsh island team that won the ofally county final in 1933 .
and Murt Connor was on the Ofally team that won their first all-ireland in 1971.
