455006 I can't think of any really strange club name in Galway. The county with the best collection of odd club names has to be Wexford: Starlights, Buffers Alley, Horsewood, Raparees, Faythe Harriers, Shelmaliers, and Oulart-the-Ballagh come to mind.

It's spelled Horeswood and pronounced whore's-wood, Rapparees is the other spelling, Gusserane is another alot of people struggle with, pronouced Gus-er-ane. I suppose Geraldine O'Hanrahans could be added to that and maybe Tara Rocks. But I've had this conversation a number of times at matches.
